A couple things which would vastly improve pvp (Battlegrounds) for most people.

    2. Potions - I don't have any issue with potions or poisons, but I do agree that farming for certain reagents takes too frickin' long. I spent about an hour trying to find a single emetic russula for master crafting writ today. There needs to be more frequent nodes and the nodes need to yield 2x their normal drops, or reagents need to be incorporated into the PVP reward system somehow. The biggest issue I have with PVP is it forces my PVE time to be dominated by mat/reagent farming.
    Go to IC. Make some Tel Var. Buy apothecary parcels. Problem solved.

    Seriously! Any PvPer who goes around picking flowers has not caught on to the fact that Imperial City is the #1 source of reagents in the game.

    The potion idea is laughable for the many reasons already mentioned.

    Potions are not crutches or optional addons. They are an integral part of every build I make.

    I have a problem with anyone who suggests different game modes. My characters have been developed in CP PvP. There is a reason for that. When Cyrodiil is laggy, or because I prefer it anyway, I go to Imperial City. The gameplay in that place revolves around a mixture of PvP and making Tel Var. Due to the added difficulty and, more so, tedium of farming IC bosses in no CP, the place is basically dead in the no CP campaign. No one goes there.

    All my understanding of what works in PvP, and my builds, are fine-tuned for CP. I'd have no problem if all of PvP ran in the same game mode, CP, no CP, or even no CP without potions. I'm not sure the latter would make sense, given arguments already listed, or that it would be more fun, but whatever. Just give me a single game mode for PvP, please.

    Using Tel Var is a thought, but I'm usually not Tel Var rich.

    I use Tel Var for that which can only be gotten in IC: namely Hakeijo. I craft a new set of armor like every couple of weeks so thats 17500 Tel var expenses per week for me already.

    And my suggestion was in fact pointing out that there was no issue with potions/poisons, as well. The issue is with PVE reagent farming, which is an issue regardless of the Tel Var option.
