    *Nerd voice* Actually Oblivion was released on the 20th NA ( 24th for EU )

    I remember Best Buy and Gamestop broke the street date by a day, but it was supposed to be on the 21st.

    Google definitely gives me the 20th March

    Not sure about Oblivion, but US retail street dates for home entertainment content (music, DVDs, games etc) were almost always on Tuesdays during this time because retailers have shorter hours on Sunday, not enough time to set up the point-of-purchase displays etc.
