Magsorc/warden/templar need a pvp buff

Argue with me if u want, what i see the current state is these 3 clearly lack dmg. I agree these 3 can be on the tanky side. But stam warden being almost as tanky (just no purge) does way more burst, and stam dk can put on dots just as mag do (again, just no purge) yet have flight for burst. Sure purge is good, but what need to be purged if you don’t even give debuff like defile. Dark flare has cast time and it is projectile, it is super ez to dodge, I don’t even bother slot it. What can magsorc and magwarden do to get defile? Sure zaan made dk good, and mgnb has defile and cloak(which can dodge a lot dmg). but other mags still weak.

I am playing magicka NB and magicka templar in PvP and magicka NB is far superior, imo for solo play.

Honestly i think it only fair to buff soul assult (magnb and dk are stronger atm and do not need soul assult) and give it defile, the slow remove is just dumb to begin with.

✭Templar damage is fine. The issue there is the set choices we have to use do not coincide well without defensive options.
We rely on mitigating damage then healing up, like a DK.
But...if we build for damage, our burst heal, which is incredibly potent, doesn't help us mitigate while were not casting the heal. Leaving us open to the equivalent of being a sorc without shields up....all the time.
This is why so many magplar are so freaking tank, is because we build for good mitigation so that we can have time to deal damage once in awhile. And when we are on the defensive...we are nigh unkillable. If they give us a better option for defense while dealing damage. I don't know like, a defensive buff that wasn't tied to a regen buff like restoring and channeled focus are. Or a similar skill to warden frost shield. Or a blazing shield buff that actually worked for mag damage builds.
This is also why eclipse has become such a popular skill...although weak in that in order to get the heal, you have to be fighting an idiot.
I suggest removing the damage, and making it unbreakable, not tied to CC and something we can continuously cast.
Or...a blazing shield that did exactly the same thing as eclipse, but a self buff. One that exploded for each direct hit, and one that heals on each hit, then removing eclipse and give us some other skill no one will ever use.
Make purge both morphs purge 5 effects, one heal for bigger than it does and one damage for more than it does. I love the idea of this "house". We can make it happen, but zeni needs to do it. They've been very lazy these past few years.
Oh and for gosh sake, buff the heal on sweeps...atleast make it only heal based on damage to the closest target, as not to over power overworld PVE. But...it needs a buff. Also a buff to burning light is warrented...1 -

✭Oh yeah...and have you guys ever fought a max damage magplar? I'm talking BIS set bonuses. They drop like a sack of taters when you look at them but DAMN the damage is real.
I have a build using soulshine and warmaiden with slimecraw, my sweeps will knock a dude flat on his face in one or two casts...But unlike a max damage sorc or magblade. I have absolute *** for defense while built like that...You ever been hit with a dark flare on PC/NA by an EP player for 21k, that was probably me. XD2 -

Yeah expect stam nb gets jump on you 1st and dark flare is like ez af to dodge.

Sure u can land the stupid flower in zergs, but it is completely useless when you chasing enemy. A skill that hard to land is no where near good.
