There are also lots of areas left that aren't part of any alliance. Western Skyrim, Colovia, Nibenay Valley, Telvanni Isles would all make great chapters.

Personally, I'd love to see Colovia. They did a great job on the Gold Coast.

Really I'd prefer anything other than Summerset but for purposes of the overall plot it certainly seems to make sense.

Still, I can't believe they're just ignoring the possibility of making their own mark on the TES universe by taking us to the almost blank space of Akavir.

I don't mind where the game goes next, as long as its mainland related. I want to see the whole of Tamriel able to be visited. I dont really care about the realms of oblivion that much - they are normally bleak and depressing...

Although Vaermina's realm would be a great place to add user generated dungeons...

If we go by that, which zone could we explore in DC? DC got Craglorn and Wrothgar already (and Hew's Bane as well).

We only know about Murkmire and that's a EP zone. So what's there in DC we could explore?

While Wrothgar is DC,, Graglorn, Hew's Bane, and Gold Coast are Imperial held territory.

I thought Hew's Bane and Gold Coast were run by pirates and thieves, (and a fanatical militant church in the Gold Coast's case.) The Iron Wheel is a slightly better mercenary group run by a strongman. I've never seen any trace of Imperial rule there. Just a few officers who happen to be Imperials doing the best they can to survive.

You can clearly see DC siege equipment on Craglorn's eastern border.
That shows it's not under imperial rule, but DC.

The Gold Coast seceded from the emprie and is now independent.

Hew's Bane has nothing to do with the empire, being in Hammerfell and only barely ruled by anyone...

Yeah I have to agree with some of the people above.

We are not going to get access to more of Elsweyr for a while..

We might get the other small island offshore as a small DLC zone at some point before a chapter maybe.

But I do think it will be split into 3 zones and not really a big chapter worthy content. I might be wrong and happy to eat my words if I am :) Any content....give me the rest of the map!! gimme.

Yeah, the Craglorn's Western Gate should connect to southern Bangkorai, the Eastern Gate should connect to Cyrodiil. Covenant troops (would have to) pass through there regularly on their way to Cyrodiil.

Hew's Bane is also Covenant territory. It's ruled by Merchant Princes, who have a loose affiliation with King Faharajad. The Iron Wheel were brought in as their enforcers. Though, in general, things are a little politically complicated there.

Gold Coast, is still Imperial, but there is a distinction between the Colovians and Nibiney that doesn't really exist in the 3rd Era. Specifically, Varen was Colovian. Tharn was Nibonese. In theory, they're part of Cyrodiil, but it's almost more accurate to think of Colovia as a separate province. Though, the assault on Arenthia was staged through Colovian territory, so... you know.

Not necessarily as an expansion, but I would love to see Murkmire after all these years. It was getting teased back in 2014, and I still want to go there.

I agree, would also prefer Elsweyr over summerset isles. The elf stories and zones are the most boring in the whole game. Only thing that makes the AD quests worth reading is the occasional khajit story.

I'd love more Imperial content. Who do I have to bribe at ZoS to make it happen?

All those cats. All that warm sand. Let's face it, Elsweyr is just one giant open-air toilet.

    It’s true.

I’d rather tip toe around cat “land mines” in the sand than listen to an Altmer speak.

You do know cats actually bury their **** so no tip toeing around anything lol

I'd love to visit Elsweyr too. It would be my first choice, followed closely by Black Marsh.

But as someone else said if they do it I want them to do it right - I want to see a much greater variety of khajiit furstocks. So far we've only ever seen 1 per game and always a human sized biped. If we go to Elsweyr they lose the (IMO fairly weak) excuse that X breed is the most commonly seen outside the province in this era.

In some cases I'd actually like them to 'cheat' with the models. You go into the mages guild and it's full of house cats - are they regular cats or are they alfiq? There's a senche-tiger sitting outside a government building - is it a wild cat or a Pahmar on guard duty? But in other cases I want to see distinct new models - Cathay-raht that are taller than we can make our khajiit (even if it will ruin my headcanon that my character is a short cathay-raht), huge senche-raht, ohmes-raht who look like elves with tails...and so on. Maybe even some of the breeds we've not heard about yet.

But I do consider Summerset a step in the right direction, and I don't mean geographically. Long-term what I'm hoping for from ESO is a game where we can visit all of Tamriel (and beyond) but especially the places we've never been before, or not since Arena. Summerset is the first large area we've gotten since release that hasn't been featured in a game before. Part of Wrothgar was in Daggerfall, Vvardenfell was (as they love to keep reminding us) the setting for Morrowind, the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild DLCs both take place in cities that were in Oblivion. But Summerset was new. So an expansion with (hopefully) the whole main island, or at least most of it, is adding a lot to the area of the world we can explore. It's not my first choice but it's still a good move IMO.

Please, I would love to see Blackwood, in southern Cyrodiil, Leyawiin was my favorite city. Right in between Elsweyr, and Blackmarsh.

That zone could be awesome a mix of khajiit, imperials and argonians. A zone that had three countries and different alliances.

    Fingers crossed.

Hammerfell is barely explored (its not ONLY deserts), they could add in colovia too; Or they could be funky and add SEA/SHIP exploraiton towards sunken Yokuda. Or go with wizard towers (massive) on gulf islands etc... theres really an unlimited amount of things they could come up with.

    Agreed. Sincerely!

Elsweyr is an arid land of deserts and rocky canyons, where the sun shines warmly, always <3

We only have a tiny fragment of the Western lands with notable City of Dune and Khenarthi's Roost! Twas a pleasure to witness and venture into unknown! I would really want to see the "Cats" in their fully glory and marvel :)

It wouldn't matter , be that Elsweyr or The Isle of Summerset, whatever comes first, I'll be more than happy.

10 months later. My prayers have been answered. I have to bump sorry :)

We know have both, By Ysmir. I thank thee. Elsweyr Was a perfect choice for the next ESO Chapter and beyond. Return of the Dragons and love foe the cats at last!
