Transmute Crystals from Cyrodil

Everyone is telling me that you can get a lot of transmute crystals from capturing and defending places in Cyrodil. I entered Cyrodil earlier today and was in there for roughly 30 minutes following other players around to different areas to capture and defend. When I left, I didn't get any transmute crystals in the mail. How do transmute crystals from Cyrodil work? Thanks.

Means you didn't do enough. Just follow the zerg around for like an hour and you'll get some mail.

Every 20k AP you earn gets you a reward for the worthy. The first one you open each day gives you a geode. Any after that have a chance to give you a geode.

If you don't pvp every day, save the rewards and open one each day.

Get to at least tier one and you'll get a geode at the end of the campaign.

Every first "rewards for the worthy" you get every 24 hours will have a guaranteed geode which gives from 4-25 crystals I think.

Subsequent rewards may contain them.

If your faction wins the 30 day campaign, you get 50 for each character you have at tier 3.

Your faction doesn't need to win, just as long as you participated and gotten over 50k AP to get a reward you will get some stones depending on the campaign.

This is correct, I only play alts enough to get them to tier one and always get a geode. As well as that, if you play enough to get a jewellery delivery you'll get a second geode in that mail too. Not sure what the cut off for that is but I've got one when I've only just been in the top 400

So to be clear, to get crystals from PvP I can get 25k AP and will immediately get some crystals and then I will get some more at the end of the 30 day campaign? That means the 3 ways to get crystals is by doing daily vet dungeons and daily random, get 25k AP, and be in tier 1 or higher at the end of a 30 day campaign?

Apart from whats already been said your friends might have been on about the old bug that no longer works, in that every mail opened on a alt, counted as a "first" that netted me 40+ a day lol

It says between 4 and 25, but I've only got as high as 7 once. Most of the time, it's just 4.

So, I Do PvP...but the RNG on these crystals is wonky.
Is it still considered random if 98% of the time you get the same results? Truly random would mean it would be very hard to see 4 over and over again.
Yet, here we are..

The reward of the worthy might be offset from the alliance rank as you keep your AP but your alliance rank is reset.

Technically, yes, it can be random and get 4 over and over again.

But the geodes use heavily weighted RNG. You dont have an equal chance of getting any number between 4 and 25.

4 and 5 are by far the most common, but I've occasionally gotten 10 and 15.

Is this for real? All you have to do is reach Tier 1, and at the end of a 30 day campaign, all characters that reached Tier 1 will receive 50 crystals?

It is only tier 1. I get all my alts I don't pvp with to teir 1, and they all get 50 crystals.
I don't know where the tier 3 info came from, but yes, it's true tier 1 is all you need for the 50 crystal reward.

It's true. Tier 1, end of campaign reward contains a geode win or lose. If you do well enough in individual ranking you can get a second geode too.

Now if you want to maximize rewards. Run as many characters as to can through the 7 day campaign 3-4 times in a row, then swap them over before the 30 day ends. Rinse and repeat.

Tier 1, 25k AP on any 30 day campaign and you get the fat 50. Worth doing on all Alts. (I'm xbox EU but am sure its all platforms)

It has to be your home campaign. You don't get any end of campaign rewards for guest campaigns.
