Scamp's Pulse attack is lightning damage, but the animation effect doesn't look lightning at all

This annoys me...if it's lightning damage, make it look like shock animation effect - but the way it is, it looks like magic damage instead of lightning damage, the animation effect doesn't fit
(p.s.: I'm talking about the active skill from the pet "Volatile Familiar")

No it's not, both are shock dmg:Once summoned, you can activate the familiar's special ability, causing the familiar to pulse for 1600 Shock Damage every 2 seconds for 8 seconds to enemies near him. The final pulse will stun all enemies hit for 3 seconds.
do you even petsorc? "Energized" (Storm Calling passive that increases shock dmg done by 5%) actually buffs the pulse attack as well...Edited by Benemime on March 16, 2018 8:26PM1 -
Jarryzzt✭✭✭✭I don't know. I always thought the familiar's pulse looked lightning-y enough. Sort of like a poor man's imitation of shock nova from Diablo II.
In any case, in a fit of rare competency they wrote the tooltip to specifically tell you it's shock damage. So as long as they don't make smoke come out of it or something, any halfway mediocre animation they might throw in there should suffice.0 -
