Is Trapping webs viable?

As seen in the title. I never see anyone use it. If anyone uses it let me know if it’s good PVE or PVP wise. I’m guessing compared to Shalk is terrible

I believe it was used on some stamina builds back when 2 handed DPS was more viable - I think around the time VMA weapons came out. Otherwise, I can't remember the last time I've seen it used either. I think a major problem with it is the synergy requirement is a big part of its potential effectiveness.

Yes, it is viable since Dragon Bones patch. But situationally.

Nope it blows. It was a really cool skill way back when the game first came out as a magic ability (and really fun!), but just like so many skills, it has been COMPLETELY ruined by the combat team.

Already seen in this thread for the Shadow Silk morph.

Basically, it is useful in PvE for stamina DDs (possibly tanks as well) in Asylum Sanctorium, where people are spread out enough to make good use of it, but the range restriction limits it way too much for everything else.

This ability has been FAR too situation since FOREVER. The AOE size is PITIFULLY small and the activation time is FAR too long to be effective.

It's not the best use of a slot unless you are using as a "flavor" ability on a character as it is fairly weak and limited. I am sure some people may get good use out of it but I don't know anyone who would use it as a regular since the specs really pigeon hole its usefulness.

It would be viable if

1) It was a DoT instead of a delayed "burst" skill.
2) The range synergy requirement wasn't a thing.
3) It had a radius akin to Volley
