Is the New Lightning Radiant Apex Mount Missing Effects?

I know the plague husk horse was bugged for a while and now I’m wondering if the newest lightning mount isn’t as well. Upon summoning it rises up out of the ground without any particle effects whatsoever, same as a normal horse. It feels as if there are animation frames playing, and yet no additional animations are seen. I have tried unequipping all mount upgrades and this even further exacerbates the impression that something is indeed missing from the summons.

Platform PC (and likely console too).

It’s pretty clearly not a humble brag, given that the plague husk horse was also broken and that’s plainly explained in the OP. Maybe contribute something other than a drive by.

I mean there is a Help Forum and Bug forum floating around somewhere I believe.

This is the general forum. Don't you think if you really looking for help, and not just trying to be like look what I got, would would be posting in those forums to see if others are having the same issue? I dunno as a Support Engineer I guess to me it makes more sense to post about something being bugged in the appropriate forum

I also got this horse. Now that you mention it I don’t recal any special summons animation either. I will have to check when I am able to log in. To be perfectly honest it isn’t that impressive of a mount. I thought it was cool that I got a rare mount, but the animations are way to similar to the storm atro mounts. From what I can tell it’s just slightly more flashy.

You're right, the bug forum would be a more appropriate place for this thread. But the general forum sees more activity (which helps in finding people with the same issue) and the OP may already have sent in a ticket to support. I suppose there's arguments to be made for using either.

I have indeed submitted a ticket to support and now I’m polling the general community as to their opinions on the mount.

Some people really like to cause drama when it isn’t necessary.

Turn off your mount upgrades.

The plague husk horse and others don't show their effects if you have the stamina, speed, or carry capacity upgrades visible.

Edited: ah nevermind, I see you did that. Maybe the Foot inverse kinetics?

I didn't notice when I checked someone on the PS4 who had the mount.

BUT

I did notice the senate's sound effects are quiet in comparison to the wolf (I have both). You can hardly hear the senche, even when jumping, and it's a shame.

I’ll try that. Thanks for the suggestion. It’s just weird as it’s the exact same animation as a normal pony when summoned. No other apex, let alone the radiant variety, has ever been so barebones.

I was able to log in to do some testing. Nope, nothing. Just your usual summon horse animation. Pretty lame. I feel bad for people that have spent or plan on spending loads of cash for this mount. It’s really not that special. I hope this does turn out to be a bug.

Inverse foot kinematics did not affect the (lack of) animations at all.
