Every class plays mostly the same.
I think sorc should get a pretty hefty redesign (neither nerf nor buff, just to open more build variety), but that will never happen.
I feel like with the right gear grinded out, sorc is pretty good in pvp. They do feel so limited to specific play-styles more than other classes. I'm finding myself playing my sorc more now versus my other classes. They have such high pug killing potential combined with superb kiting capability that doesn't require you to build tanky or use cloak.
Yep, mSorcerers are good for beginners given the less effort on their part in dishing out decent damage. With their cost reduction and damage/stat boosting passive, they can hold on their decently enough but they shouldn't be worthy of necessarily being on equal footing to Magblades and their kit as a whole.

@Vahrokh I actually think this is one of the strengths of a mag sorc.
If someone wants to "git gud" i pretty much always recommend sorc because it's straight forward and you'll establish the basics for every magi dps build.
Crushing shock light attack weave, watch for frag procs, keep curse, lightning and wall up.
when you're running low on resources, skip the front bar and heavy attack.
It's soooooo simple yet so many people can't do it initially.
you can literally just tell them to practise that and eventually they get decent numbers and are ready to start looking at the more intricate classes.

Sorry if I missunderstand this, but do you actually say that magsorcs should be worse than e.g. nightblades because mS playstyle is bland, boring and somewhat easy?
