I've played pvp and pve for 3 years now - and have to say, I'm getting very bored with both. Even new dungeons don't feel new - and PVE gets a lot of new content... so imagine how bored a lot of people are getting with PVP!! Nothing in Cyrodiil has changed since the Imperial City (and the changes there already killed it nearly completely).

Y'know that would be a ganker griefer's wet dream?
All a sadistic person would need to do is target a poor PvE soul, and then camp them just outside the Rez area. Every single time the victim would want to keep trying to do their Questing they'd get ganked by the PvP tryhard, until one eventual ultimate outcome. The victim would give up and be forced back to the Sewer base, being denied their PvE run.
It's happened before.

No horse simulator, instant action.

I just want IC back the way it was (pre dark brotherhood patch)...
i'm not sure how much you enjoy pvping - but, it was glorious...day and night anywhere from 15 to 40 players would congregate in the arena district (this was on ps4/na, other platform/servers would get together in different districts) and fight... it was glorious, mindless carnage...you could easily complete all five (at the time) bounties in an hour or so... no structure, no rules, just battling any one not wearing your factions banner... also, plenty of friendly/not do friendly duels taking place over by the entrance to the arena itself... after death you'd simply re-spawn right back up on the same platform you had jumped down from shortly before... you could actually earn a good bit of AP at times...the whole point was fighting for the sake of fighting...it made for an excellent character training ground...

I remember those days. I also remember one faction camping the other's spawn tower. I remember IMMEDIATELY getting swarmed after jumping down. I remember trying to get back into the sewers but a group decided to hold duels right next to the entrance grate and no matter how much blocking you did one of them standing there would see you coming and just immediately jump on you.
what that rule changes did though - was empty out a good bit of the population from the Imperial City...not to say IC is dead all the time - but, the 20 to 30 or more players that used to congregate in a single district there to fight nearly around the clock - no longer go there for that...

I do miss that; that was fun.
