Yup. Someone was tossing mudballs from a rooftop on Stros M'Kai last night. I guess he figured noobs wouldn't have mudballs too so I went up there and hit him with one. He jumped off the roof nearly dieing and mounted up and took off. Guess he didn't like it.

That's Awesome. How much better would it have been with the guards chasing while he ran. :D

on the flip side, had a couple of players in the skeleton poly cackling at a large group of people at a dye station. got rather annoying after a few minutes. I decided to mudball them and a few other players followed suit. Shortly there after the cackling stopped.

Agreed, as far as duel requests go, there is an auto decline option in the gameplay menu I believe. That will help with duel request spam.

You guys just don't get the fun. Snowball fighting is one of my favorite games, really miss an ability to make snowballs in snow-cowered areas. Though I avoid tossing mudballs at places of player interest

Why calling them jerks? They are making a little bit of fun. Hit them back and move along to another station if they don't stop. It's less annoying than your flying parrots covering my entire screen when I enter populated interiors.

In clockwork city near the crow daily there is a spot where you could literally hide yourself in a way that they can't easily see you and throw mudballs at people at a certain area and if someone is on the other side they will automatically think since it came from that way it was them. I started a mudball war that way. It was all golden till I saw they were going hostile on each other and then I dropped out of hiding and told them it was me and I was just trying to brighten their day up a bit. You would be surprised at how easy it is to hide yourself with the Kollopi Essence appearance item and trying to obscure your name tag that hovers above your very head.

I love that when I'm on my trials tank. Accept duel and then start laughing at them as they try their leet burst damage vs my shield.

If you own a flying parrot I don't call you a jerk, but maybe I should, because it annoys me.

It's not the people who throw one mudball that are jerks, but I seem to be a magnet for idiots that follow me around for five minutes or more, like they have nothing better to do in game than follow someone around throwing mudballs. My friend has that issue with one of her toons that is brightly colored. My main wears bright colors. It's like something in seeing a colorful toon switches on this inner screaming monkey and they can't stop following the colors around throwing virtual feces. I had someone with some sort of throwable bird follow me down the road from Belkarth all the way to the Bangkorai gate throwing this bird at me as quickly as the thing cooled down. I don't know why I am a magnet for these weirdos.

Another friend of mine who never sees this sort of behavior was thinking I was exaggerating and telling me "oh it's just harmless fun, nobody throws mudballs to be mean". I went to the wayshrine where she was to show her my new outfit, and someone came out and proceeded to mudball me for several solid minutes in front of her and now she is a believer. She thinks either I'm cursed to run into jerks in the game, or she's just blessed not to. So...yeah. Different animals, the mudball prankster and the mudball griefer. The latter is why I wish they'd give us a toggle to opt out of participating if desired, like LOTRO did with their involuntary emotes. It can just get really disruptive in the wrong hands, and there are more wrong hands in this game than most people ever encounter because they are all targeting an unlucky few, apparently.

PS--the monkeyfighting "parrots" are incredibly annoying with their flapping in front of doors and such and making your E prompt go away. Hey ZOS, how about you change mudballs to target just twilights, huh?!

This is it exactly. I wasn't referring to people who throw one. I was referring to people who just stand there and pelt you so that you can't see a thing.

And yes, if you're throwing repeated mudballs at someone who is at a dye station with the express purpose of screwing with their preview screen, that makes you a jerk. ;)

I have no problem with them in any other area of the game.

It's totally not a problem if you're out in the middle of nowhere just standing around. :)

I think most people get annoyed when it happens while you're trying to interact with something. Because then, it's because the person actually wants to inconvenience you. That's not fun ;)

i understand some find it annoying but its like

    9rYVxqH.jpg

I don't mind getting it thrown at me and then i chase them and throw at them, actually made a friend like that its fun.
And then i used Mystic Guard IV on her and just followed her around with it while she tried to brake it, and then she turned around and used it on me and i was running away tried to brake it.

the whole time we were just laughing and then one low end cp was running next to us maybe confused so we used Mystic Guard on him/her while they were running away tried to brake it we were just doing that for 1 hr running around and using Mystic Guard on other people it was sooo much fun.
