Yup. Someone was tossing mudballs from a rooftop on Stros M'Kai last night. I guess he figured noobs wouldn't have mudballs too so I went up there and hit him with one. He jumped off the roof nearly dieing and mounted up and took off. Guess he didn't like it.

This is as annoying as a stream of duel requests as you are crafting, banking or dye shop. Both are Trolling, just make you untargetable while performing these actions.

Someone throws a mudball at me, They'll quickly have a few coming back at them. I keep that on my quickbar for just such an occasion.

Why calling them jerks? They are making a little bit of fun. Hit them back and move along to another station if they don't stop. It's less annoying than your flying parrots covering my entire screen when I enter populated interiors.
If you own a flying parrot I don't call you a jerk, but maybe I should, because it annoys me.

It's not the people who throw one mudball that are jerks, but I seem to be a magnet for idiots that follow me around for five minutes or more, like they have nothing better to do in game than follow someone around throwing mudballs. My friend has that issue with one of her toons that is brightly colored. My main wears bright colors. It's like something in seeing a colorful toon switches on this inner screaming monkey and they can't stop following the colors around throwing virtual feces. I had someone with some sort of throwable bird follow me down the road from Belkarth all the way to the Bangkorai gate throwing this bird at me as quickly as the thing cooled down. I don't know why I am a magnet for these weirdos.
Another friend of mine who never sees this sort of behavior was thinking I was exaggerating and telling me "oh it's just harmless fun, nobody throws mudballs to be mean". I went to the wayshrine where she was to show her my new outfit, and someone came out and proceeded to mudball me for several solid minutes in front of her and now she is a believer. She thinks either I'm cursed to run into jerks in the game, or she's just blessed not to. So...yeah. Different animals, the mudball prankster and the mudball griefer. The latter is why I wish they'd give us a toggle to opt out of participating if desired, like LOTRO did with their involuntary emotes. It can just get really disruptive in the wrong hands, and there are more wrong hands in this game than most people ever encounter because they are all targeting an unlucky few, apparently.
PS--the monkeyfighting "parrots" are incredibly annoying with their flapping in front of doors and such and making your E prompt go away. Hey ZOS, how about you change mudballs to target just twilights, huh?!
