Dark Elf Lantern, Oil gives off some decent light for its size without overpowering like a crystal, or looking too out of place.

I know I might be a bit late to this, but I used the wedding lanterns that can be got via the merchant in Abahs Landing. Here's what the station looks like with them off and on.

They don't have a large radius, but they put out one of the most natural lights I've found.

As for location, I just put my light source directly in front of the station.
As this can sometimes look ridiculous, the trick is placement, and the type of light you want to place.

For example in my Erstwhile Sanctuary, I put candles on the rubble of the floor, like so:

When in use, the lighting effect is as follows:

The outcome is pretty much the same for a variety of different light types.
You dont need much, just one in close proximity to the station, for light-radius limitations.
