I think you are referring to the light attack with lightning staves becoming heavy attack with you doing nothing to make it heavy.

I completely forgot about this change. I left the game shortly after Morrowind was released, and I now remember one of the patches made heavy attacks "automatic".NewBlacksmurf wrote: »Like the bow?

For blade users, won't be much of a change. For bow users, this was a massive change. I particularly use to draw heavy attacks, then aim at that target I wanted. Now the game just fires it and you hope for the best.
Having returned a couple of days ago, I was wondering what was going on with bows now.

SupremeRissole✭✭✭✭NEEDS TO BE FIXED!In general on mag characters just doing a light attack will lock me in a heavy. Yet on stam instead of linking abilities with heavies my character just stands there. Heavies are BROKEN on xbox and is making the game VERY frustrating to play.

Just so you know, that happens on PC using the mouse too. It happens more often if you're light attack weaving while spamming some instant skill.
Makes me think that the game is not monitoring holding down the button continuously but instead checks periodically to see if it's still down. Do light attacks fast enough, add server lag and you get these weird heavy attacks while holding nothing down.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭What are you talking about?Lightning and Restoration Staff are supposed to do this, its a "channeled" attack that does Damage Over Time followed by a burst Heavy Attack at the end of each wave.0 -
