Werewolf Tank-Taunt

I have talked to many other players that have tank characters that are also werewolves. The only problem with this is the lack of a taunt ability in werewolf form. It would be easy enough to change one of the skill morphs to taunt. Piercing howl would be a good skill to add taunt to.
Many people mention the tormentor set, but it's ability does not work with the werewolf's pounce attack. I spent time getting the full set and it does not work. I read that it is because the ability only works with charge attacks, and the werewolf pounce is not a charge.
This is something I know his been requested before and I hope out it will eventually make out into the game.

✭✭✭✭✭I dont think werewolf was ever designed to be tank-capable, it's a damage form.
Maybe if we get a were-bear...PS4 / NA

✭✭Some other issues with the werewolf tank.
1. They can't ressurect
2. They don't offer any proper debuffs or buffs (no warhorn, no fracture/breach, no major protection)
3. They have no external healing
4. Their fear spreads out mobs. Bad for dps.
5. They could lose form at the worst possible moment.
6. They don't gain blocking passives.
They could definitely change some unused morphs to help out. Brutal pounce, Ferocious Roar, Hircine's Fortitude.

There are rate situations when its acceptable, at least for the tank. Drodda in direfrost is one- she cannot be taunted and having a tank able to deal a little extra damage helps speed things up.PS4 / NA

Piercing howl having a taunt on top of things it currently does ? Good luck fighting in PvP with werewolf wearing Tremorscale set. Also what an idea is even that ? Werewolf as a tank ? April Fools' Day is in 2 weeks.Edited by Juhasow on March 14, 2018 2:52AM1 -

✭✭✭If ZOS ever adds a Were-Bear form, I'd be all for that being made purely for tanking.

So there are 2 morphs of Roar, one that gives Major Brutality (obvious DPS morph) and one that... off-balances nearby enemies if you kill a feared enemy? wtf?
The second morph is too niche, so I suggest this:
After the fear ends, taunt all affected enemies.
So for Roar now there's an obvious DPS morph and Tank morph. boom.With strength and intelligence comes hard work.
Which is why not a lot of people are strong nor intelligent.0 -

Ferocious Roar is an out-dated morph due to the latest changes regarding off-balance. Both morphs already apply off-balance to the target so don´t see the point of putting nearby enemies off-balance due to killing a feared target (which rarely ever happens, can tell from experience).
However, I would much rather see Ferocious Roar being re-worked into some kind of utility skill. One suggestion I´m fond of:
"Empowering Roar"
No longer Fears nearby enemies, but instead gives snare-immunity and major expedition to you and 5 nearby allies for 5 seconds.
And fix the tormentor set for those who want to tank as a werewolf. Otherwise I´m slightly against making WW into a tanking class. At least not without reworking some underused morphs so that they can synergies better with group-play.0 -
Wolfrikk✭I don't agree that the WW is only for dps. My tank is a WW and does not do near as much damage as my DPS WW because it's attacks still scale off of the character build. The WW form is still more of a tank then a DPS, it just cannot taunt, so he loses his effectiveness in WW form.
I wouldn't change in Vet Dungeons, this is something I would like to be able to do when I am doing guild events with my werewolf guild.0
