Hi ESO Community!

I would like to have your point of view as I am planning to upgrade/almost build a new gaming PC, and as I used it mostly for ESO I wish to select the best component for this game.

First what I will keep form my current ring:
Tower case, 1 SSD 240Gb, 1TB HDD, 600W power supply (bought it last December),2 screen, keyboard, mouse, headset, windows 10.

What I will change:
Motherboard, CPU, GPU, memory

I heard that CPU is really important for ESO, more than other game, is it true for your experience (usage in game?)
Also would you recommend more NVIDA or AMD for graphic card and CPU? How much memory are you using?
Maybe new rayzen are a good option??

Budget is around 1000 CAD, I am amazon prime if that can help (lot of discount in hardware).

What will be your recommendation?

Thanks in advance for your hep;

Volckodav.

PS: English is not my native language, so apologies for any mistake

I recently put this together, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8TWdCb it runs ESO on max settings and doesn't drop below 60 FPS (1440p). I'm really enjoying this build. It's relatively low cost for a good bit of computing power. You could save a bit by going with the i7-8700 CPU instead of the i7-8700k and you wouldn't have to buy a CPU cooler.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, really appreciated!

And I see the price of gaming card rising, bitcoin mining :(

Yea unfortunately they've risen quite a bit. Not sure if it would be best to wait it out at this point or just bite the bullet and pay for it. I would have liked to buy a 1070 or a 1080 but they were way too pricey for me.

I'd like to note that with that build ESO usually only uses about 30-40% of my CPU while using anywhere from 40-70% of my GPU. If there's anything I'd consider upgrading on that build at some point, it would be the GPU.

Very important point here, that,s going in the sense of going with the i7-8700 CPU instead of the i7-8700k and put the saving on the PGU.

Again a big THANKS for your help and quality feeback, much appreciated!
