What's your opinion on crown crate emotes?

If it means that we would see new emotes more often I'd like less niche emotes such as new dances and instrument emotes that I can see myself using more, but in the crown store and not crown crates

Sadly this is what crates do, they take everything desirable and lock it away behind random chances to make you spend more money. I said this when I first saw housing items in there and I will say it again for emotes, we are going down the SWTOR route where eventually you'll have people joining or returning to the game and wanting that awesome item/emote only to find it was six crate seasons ago with no way to ever get it now.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Sadly this is what crates do, they take everything desirable and lock it away behind random chances to make you spend more money. I said this when I first saw housing items in there and I will say it again for emotes, we are going down the SWTOR route where eventually you'll have people joining or returning to the game and wanting that awesome item/emote only to find it was six crate seasons ago with no way to ever get it now.
Must suck for animators to spend time on animations only for it to go in a vault never to be seen of again3 -

✭✭✭✭Out of my 3 free crates I got 2 emotes, and I don't use emotes tbh, I don't think they should be in crates - the RPers that want them may not want to buy crates, and those of us who don't use them don't need one more useless thing in the crown crate drop list.
I'm not meaning to be derogatory, I know some people like the emotes - but most people won't ever use those. In crown crates it is filler to reduce the chance of you getting something you want and try to get you buying more.

Didn't they get the head marketing female from over at SWTOR to ESO like 2 years ago, just before we got all these limited time exclusive cow poop and gamble crates?
