unfortunately I have to be happy that others are noticing this and it wasn't me. Sadly, I think we are in the same boat, others relieved that other players are experiencing a bug or glitch that negatively affects their gameplay.
I'd really like for Gina or another mod to at least give us some confirmation that this is going to be addressed.
