While I agree that it is certainly one of the better furnishing packs we have seen (the Vivec one was pretty great too), I most likely won't get it. The main reason being that while the individual pieces all look great (and I especially love the Assyrian and Babylonian inspired sandstone statues), they all have a heavy Redguard theme. They would look great in the Hunding Palace, or the upcoming Dawnlight Palace, but not really anywhere else, especially not in one of my Dunmer homes. And I don't have the Hunding Palace, and don't plan on buying the Dawnlight Palace either, so all these great pieces would just end up collecting dust in my bank if I were to buy them.

The Mournful Aegis is also a great item, but once again it's heavily tied to Redguard culture. It even has a turban and the Ra Gada winged shoulders, so that, too, would look out of place in any of my homes.

So all in all, I think I'll be taking a sober decision and refrain from buying this furniture pack, and save my Crowns for something else in the future.

Khajiit parted with significant coin for this set and she is mostly pleased. It is about time there were more golden Khajiit statues in Tamriel yes. The two stone ones are now outside the front archway of Castle Claws.

The rest is in storage until such a time as another suitable property comes on the market. Khajiit has plans yes. So many plans ...

This one would say though that it feels odd to have only one of each of the large stone animals. From the point of view of the balance of architectural placement yes you would expect to find these things in pairs. It may have been better to have just one pair of camels perhaps or birds rather than three separate figures.

unfortunately I only want the tiny gold statues of the cat and stuff and I'm not paying 5k crowns for them : (

Just do it. It’s 5k crowns. And look at all that’s is being included with it.

everything else that is being included is the problem, everything else is either unwanted or craftable by me XD

Uh, all those tomb statues? not craftable. The statues? none are craftable. It's a LOT of uncraftables and very worth it.

@thatlaurachick That’s what I’m trying to tell them. The amount of what is given, as well as scale and quality is what makes it all worth it. Especially those statues and miniatures. The detail is incredible. I know for a fact that if some of those statues were sold individually, they’d cost anywhere between 2k to 5k crowns. Especially the giant statue. The golden miniature statues would be listed in the Crown Store for 1k crowns or more easily. Especially with the pricing trend ZOS is on.

Well yes. Those sand statues were listed at 1k each on the PTS, and those large statues? easily 2.5-3k each. That target dummy would be 5k. It' an incredible value.

And the Sithis statue is just awesome, so I bought that too.

The best part of the target dummy is the sound. It's immediately apparent why it is called mournful.

Put it inside a house, you can hear it everywhere. It's just beautiful.

@thatlaurachick You have impeccable taste, and a fine sense for luxury as well. Very impressive.

All I need now is that new Redguards palace that was datamined and reviewed, as well as perhaps a few Bosmer floral arrangers. I suppose a bard for my homes would be a nice addition, along with a few guards that you can place to roam about. Yes... I suppose that would do.

@Vaoh I would highly recommend this bundle. Seriously. I don’t know if it is truly “limited edition”, or if it will be returning some time in the future. But, I seriously would not sleep on it. All jokes aside. It’s that solid of a deal that is being offered. The statues alone make it worth it, but the miniatures... Oh man. The miniatures. Absolutely exquisite. And the target dummy? Its quality speaks for itself.

Just do yourself a favor, and treat yourself to this package. You won’t be disappointed. Or rather, you shouldn’t be. I damn sure wasn’t, and neither were those that I know of who purchased it.

I passed on the Vivec furniture pack and I've always regretted. Never again!
This furniture pack is wonderful. So far only placed the Mournful Aegis in my Erstwhile Sanctuary, to make it even more creepy. xD Doesn't really fit with the theme, being Ra Gada and all, but hey even assassins take souvenirs. xD

For the rest of the items, I'm sure I'll find an appropriate place. ;-)

I do have to give kudos to ZOS on this one. I was expecting at least 6k crowns for this pack when I saw the picture of what was being included. Seriously, it's a lot of items for 5,000 crowns. There are 24 unique items, with a total item count of 42, iirc. Sure, half of them are craftable Redguard furniture, but the rest. Yes, I agree a lot of these items are gorgeous.

Blows the Vivec pack out of the water, as it was at 4000 Crowns. Now, at the time, all items included in it were exclusive and non-craftable, but with this update, the furnishing plans for the Velothi braziers and the Almalexia tablet are now available, so there's 2 items now no longer exclusive to that pack. I think there were a total of 18 items, with several duplicates (4 braziers, 2 tapestries, 2 banners, and 2 seals). But I've never regretted buying it, esp. for the reflecting pool and Vivec's throne.

And it totally makes the 4000 crown Azura pack a complete joke. The only exclusive items in that one were the statue with it's accompanying pedestals and the banner and tapestry. The braziers might have been different, and there was a book. But, everything else was the craftable Daedric furniture that WE ALL have the plans for or they sell for peanuts at traders for those who don't. It was WAY OVERPRICED.

This one, however, I was just totally surprised by the value. That said, I don't think I'll get it as I am of the same mind as Carbonised. I don't have any home to put these things in and am not planning to buy any of the Redguard homes that they would fit in.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if releasing it now and at such a great price isn't designed to generate sales of the palace when it becomes available. Many may be able to justify purchasing it since they have some rather large items that would fit there, both size-wise and culture--wise. Perhaps they've priced this as a 5k Crown lead-in to what will probably be the highest-priced home to date (or, maybe second).

I bought the pack for the statues, I like statues, but the target dummy is by far the best item. The sound all by itself is probably going to drive me to purchase another one for my temple.

Not sure I would put it into a house, the sound is a bit unsettling...

@DieAlteHexe Don’t do it. I’m telling you now, to just go on ahead and get it. Lol. I too was going to pass it up, but after previewing each individual item...? I just had to give in and get it. Liked it so much, I ended-up buying 2 of the bundles. It’s definitely worth it. Especially if you look at how many crowns each thing would cost individually (although they all are limited edition).

After all, can you really pass-up that large and tall of a statue? Seriously? I don’t think people are aware of just how large the statue included in the bundle really is, until they place it down somewhere. Lol. :D I’ll post a pic so you can see.

That's what I was hoping to find out from someone. I was kinda planning to buy it but that was the linchpin for me. No one has told me they bought it yet so I was kinda holding out to the last minute. I do like the things it includes. The statues I could never see buying for 2k crowns but I do think the bundle is a lot more interesting. What I'm also debating over right now is Erstwhile and Sithis statue. I feel like on the one hand I've got a crazy cool idea for using the Sithis statue in Shadowfen, but on the other hand it would be neat in the defunct sanctuary in Kvatch. I feel like if I get Erstwhile I -have- to get Sithis, but if I get the Sithis statue I don't also feel I must get Erstwhile.

One thing that is holding me back though on spending too much now is the possibility of a really cool Altmer house on Summerset isles. I'm torn between Erstwhile now or waiting for something like that in a few months.

I personally think that things can be made to look good no matter where your home is. So long as you have an imagination, and take the time to make things match.

For example, my Linchal Grand Manor home is in the Gold Coast. Thus its styling is Imperial. Yet, I have various shades of pink-colored trees scattered around the pool (Auridon trees). This basically gave the garden a Japanese cherry blossom vibe. But at the same time, I have statues scattered about that draw influence from: Babylonian, Imperial, and even Ancient Orc influence. Lol. Still though, it all comes together quite beautifully. It really does.

I think that really works as well because of the cosmopolitan style of the Imperials themselves. Why wouldn't the imperial overlords pick up bric-a-brac from the conquered vassals? :P

It's a pretty sick furniture pack. The dummy does grown a bit loud, a bit often though. Would be nice if he only did it while your damaging him.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.
