Jarryzzt✭✭✭✭The pet version is fine. Thematically they got a bit of a boost (CP buffs to Atro) but I, for one, do not "feel" any significant difference (good or bad).
I will agree that on the pet side especially you basically have only decision to make (one pet or two) and one or two flex spots skills-wise. Very cookie-cutter. This does not make the class play bad just...not especially exciting.4 -

There are several solutions to your problem none of which involve nerfing shields. So, even though i hate the phrase, L2P does apply. Perhaps you should try a different approach?4 -

Link your build in the uesp build editor and people would be glad to help you out. We've been through this already.

Magblade used Master Architect and Sorc perfected inferno, so both weren't 100% selfish.

✭✭Lost about 3-4k after off balance patched ( sustain gains much more when OB ) , but I feel SORC in PVE is still powerful .
Range attack , easy rotation with great defense , I have both magsorc and magblade , I will pick magsorc to run hardest content , such as DLC Vdun no death and HM .
One more thing , SORC is always better if you have bad connection to ZOS server

No stun for Frags, but immov pots make everything in a Sorc arsenal weak, if you can't lock them down or stun them you can't gain an advantage.
Streak is broken, but the distance Streak uses is too short, you just get spammed by gap closers whose cost isn't doubled like Streak is.
Destro-Resto NB's outgun Sorcs at their own game.
Can't DPS down most classes solo, too tanky.
Unless you run Spinner you're spell pen is like 10k, and most other classes have entirely too much magic resistances.
Resource poisons = cancer.
2200 Magicka recovery isn't near enough. I run out of magicka halfway during a fight and can't stop to cast Dark Deal or I'll die. Boundless should grant CC immunity as least for a few seconds (too many snares).
I don't get these shield stack Sorcs you can chase all the way across Cyrodiil but they still have the resources to kill you when you're totally out.
Can't think of anything else.

I feel like with the right gear grinded out, sorc is pretty good in pvp. They do feel so limited to specific play-styles more than other classes. I'm finding myself playing my sorc more now versus my other classes. They have such high pug killing potential combined with superb kiting capability that doesn't require you to build tanky or use cloak.

I too find myself playing sorc more. Especially in battlegrounds. I honestly don't have any issues with damage or sustain although I'm still missing a masters inferno staff.0
