About Centaurs and the Psijic Order

If we go to Summerset and meet the Psijic Order, I really hope we'll get to meet some Centaurs. They seem to be linked to the Psijic Order in that they are follower of the "Old Ways", whatever this means. I'd be disappointed if we didn't get to learn more about them.

Especially as they have been recently confirmed as part of the lore (though we hadn't seen them since Daggerfall).
My characters:
Main and crafter: A Breton magicka templar named Erwann Sorril
Alt 1: A Bosmer sorcerer named Tuuneleg
Alt 2: An Imperial dragonknight named Gaius Tullius Hastifer
Alt 3: An Argonian vampire/nightblade named Observe-le-Xanmeer
Alt 4: A Nord werewolf/dragonknight named Sigurd Hurlevent
Alt 5: A Breton sorcerer named Gilian Sorril (he's Erwann's younger brother)
Alt 6: A Khajiit nightblade named Jolan-dar
Alt 7: A Nord warden named Sigurmar Hurlevent (he's Sigurd's younger brother)
Alt 8: An Altmer templar named Oioriel
Alt 9: An Argonian stamina Warden named Danse-avec-les-Rainettes
Alt 10: A Redguard templar named Neemokh af-Corelanya
Alt 11: A Nord stamina sorcerer named Olga Écoute-Vent
Alt 12: A Breton magicka Warden named Ian Sorril
Alt 13: A Dunmer magicka necromancer named Ilmoran Dren
Alt 14: An Orc stamina necromancer named Norgol gro-Borziel
Alt 15: A Nord magicka necromancer named Thorgen Givresang
Alt 16: An Imperial magicka dragonknight named Publius Valeirus Hastifer (Just call him "Valerio" - he's Gaius younger troublemaker of a brother)
Main in NA (For collaborative events): A Breton magicka nightblade named Titouan Sorril (long-lost brother of Erwann and Gilian)

Centaurs in elder scrolls. Never thought that would happen.

They've always been a part of TES, even though the last game that actually featured them was TES II: Daggerfall.

So they have been in exactly one numbered game, 20 years ago and a card game and have never been mentioned in the most popular elder scrolls, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, which personally have played the crap out of and they are never mentioned in ESO, even though the card game says they "can be commonly found in Valenwood and High Rock.". Been all over both those zones, never seen or heard anyone mention them. So I would not say they have "always" been part of elders scrolls. I would say, one game, twenty years ago had them in it.

Still they have always been part of the lore and that is what matters. Just because ESO doesn't have them (yet) is meaningless in that regard. There are plenty of creatures that should be in High Rock, e.g. dragonlings & wereboars, that aren't in ESO and yet they are part of Tamriel's lore.

i would love to battle some centaurs in this game. i haven't seen a centaur since they used to whoop me out in this old roguelike i used to play, and i'm much better suited here to get some vengeance.

Daggerfall was a true TES game and so was Morrowind, which was really a game apart due to the setting on the magical island of Vvardenfell and i can understand nobody would start a conversation about Centaurs in Morrowind. I live in the Netherlands and i also don't hear or start a conversation about, for example, dingo's or other creatures i don't know about. Oblivion and Skyrim are really not TES games but undressed, consolified games which lost all of it's identity being TES games. If they called Skyrim another name, like Hexen 3 i would also have believed it.

Anyway, ESO is a game "Based on the Elderscrolls", so it's not even a true TES game. And if Daggerfall sais there are Centaurs, then there are. Just because the only game that has a unicorn in it is Oblivion doesn't mean it is not part of the lore even though it is not mentioned anywhere in any other TES game (afaik). I mean, we had underwater Dreugh in Morrowind... nope not part of the lore as it is not mentioned or seen in other TES games and was 20 years ago, same as Ash slaves.

Imho, everything that has been or mentioned in any game, even the spin-offs is now part of the lore. Except ESO because all those creepy and ugly mounts just make the lore look silly.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

There should be Imga in Valenwood too; and they've revisited the dro-M'Athra so I hope if they add them they put them in the mainland regions they're supposed to be in (or at least give an explanation for where they went).

Slightly unrelated, I wonder how the Centaur race got started. The other part-man part-creature that comes to mind is Minotaurs, and they all have Kynareth as an ancestor. Are centaurs descended from a particular Ada or are they a distinct race for other reasons?

.Oblivion and Skyrim are really not TES games

This right here completely invalidates your post. No matter what your personal problems with Oblivion and Skyrim, you would have be dense to think they are not elder scrolls games. Without those games, there would be no elder scrolls.
