Necromancer teasing

    My thoughts exactly. Psijic class would be cool, but completely lore breaking! Their secretive order would never accept just random people. Yes, I get that in the game we are all the ones to defeat Molag Bal and save Vivec and Help Sotha-Sil but considering the amount of clues going on about necromancy it must be tied very closely, so I think we will either get:

    -Necromancer Class who is part of a splinter group of Psijic order that decided to commit to fighting daedra

    or

    -Necromancers will be the main antagonist group (considering Summerset Isles and the masters of necromancy, the Sload it seems very plausible.

    If we do get a Necromancer class, I'm sure it will be fun, but if people are hoping to run around with hoards of zombies and skeletons, they can think again. Do not forget, we have a whole skill line dedicated to daedric summoning and what do we get? A funny monkey who you can turn into a cute dinosaur or a sexy lady with wings. I don't count atro since it's an ulti.
    I am more than likely expecting they will go the Warden route:

    DPS skill line with flying skull projectiles or a bone throwing spear, two summoning spells for ONE undead pet and 2 completely useless skills

    Healing skill line which heals with Necromancy, sort of similar to NBs skill line but in teal instead of red, again, 1 or 2 useful spells, rest trash.

    Tanking skill line which will have bone shields etc, but 4 useless skills.

    Also their damage will be quite low and they will have no execute like the warden.

    All in all, I am not excited for the new class, since it will be a flavour of the month in Cyrodiil but it's always nice to have something new.

    However I highly doubt that we will get them any time soon. All the necromancer stuff has probably been added to keep those of us who want to be necromancers happy, while also buying ZOS time to get that class/world skill/guild on the way without rushing it.

    Actually I would argue the problem with the game is that it is next to impossible not to be villainous at some point in the game. There are simply fewer options to be a hero and far too many rewards given to villainous play, not to mention simply more content available. Perhaps if they would have let us choose sides in the Brotherhood or Thieves Guild quest lines things might have been different.

    They stated on the teaser for the warden last year that a necro has been thought of but between the sorc summoning and blood magic of a nightblade, they don’t think it’s necessary as there is enough of it in the game.
