Login Errors (resolved, but still curious)

I have several ESO accounts. For several years this has not been an issue and they each have an in-game house with a specific use/theme for my guild. I've been inactive for about 6 weeks while purchasing a home offline and moving and today returned to the game to try to log in all my alternate ids and they're all getting the same error message:
"Login Error - Login failed. Your username or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time. If you purchased the game through Steam, please start the game via the Steam Client to login."
I did not purchase any of the game copies via Steam, I have however spent several hundred dollars even on these alternate accounts (my @AttunedGarden for example hosts the guild's attuned crafting sets and has a balance of over 22k crowns!). It's never been a policy that we could have only one game account, so why are none of my alternate accounts able to log in?

Before checking other alternate accounts I decided to go back to my main account @sunshine-daydream.us but now it's getting the error as well.....
https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/users/account has shown each account status as "Active" -- What is going on?

Tevalaur✭✭✭✭✭P.S. I've found & read https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8204/ regarding this issue and nothing mentioned there gives a clue to what's wrong. Also, the link on that page to the Service Alerts leads to a "Page Not Found" error.
P.P.S. Tevalaur✭✭✭✭✭I've gotten an account to log in, perhaps it was just some sort of random short-term glitch... checking others now.
So far all seems good again...
