I wish that were the case for me, lag spikes , fps drops, and bugs galore, if i dont /reloadui at least twice a night, i havent even really played. 75% of my bounties come from bugs, in fact just got one because BoW took 6 tries to fire even though it made the sound every time. and a good quarter of my deaths are fps/lag/bug related.3 -

It isn't 'pay-to-win'; it's 'pay-for-progress'.
If you want to progress without delay or fuss, you'll subscribe. Otherwise, you will be waiting for research to complete, XP to accumulate; or you will be battling your half-size inventory management that is now full to the brim with what used to be in your craft bag. Stopping continually to manage it.
You may look more closely at what they fix and don't fix. Plenty of stuff out there that helps delay you into one more subscription. Loading screens? Did we see that issue fixed? Nope. You all got distracted by the The Shiny at the golden vendor; or the free crown crate.
Anyway... Not Free to play? Yes it is. It's just not really satisfying.
if you're a Subscriber, you should ask for MOAR!!! Don't renew until you get it.

Every Free to Play MMOrpg has had less lag, more frequent updates, more intractable content, friendlier RNG, Smooth PUGs with ways to assure every Roll needed was properly filled, in-game Moderation, and quick responses to glitches and issues.
This isn't a Free to Play game. It's a AAA Game.

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll do something like they just did with Rift (according to an email I got from them this morning) which is basically you can chose to play the game as it was on "day one".
Not a bad idea. For those with nostalgia, a way to indulge. For those who are content with the current status, it's still there.

i cant recall the last time i needed to reloadui. i would suggest the source of your problems is not the game.9 -

Except that it doesnt.
ESO is the laggiest game I've ever played, not to mention random bugs, crashes and other issues. My templar's skills, for example, were bugged for ages (and almost unplayable after that one patch a week ago) and there are bugs that arent fixed for years.
And lags arent even related to my pc or connection, sometimes I play pvp and everyone in my group gets loadscreens or lag spikes at the same time.
I still like the game, its universe and combat system, but for these prices I would like to see better service. I mean, even free to play games have better servers.

I was just theory-crafting my dream Werewolf set-up to make it amazing in top-tier content; A dream at best, I know.
I don't even get to test it now because the most recent patch made it to where every time a Synergy is within 77 Meters of me, I pop out of Werewolf and lose my Ult and any Ult I generate until I use said canceled Ult again to toggle out of Werewolf - A form I was already force out of.
I ended up going through a full re-spec and dropping a lot of gear to get my set up broken.
Now it's the waiting game.
Lets hope it doesn't take years...
