Cannot get launcher/game to run

I have been trying for upwards of 12 hours to get the launcher to work. I have tried installing it a dozen times, added the files to allow the program to go through my firewall, and tried to run it without any protection on my computer. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions. When you double click the desktop icon all it does is goes to the loading screen and stops. Please help

hamgatan✭✭✭✭✭The loading screen would be trying to establish a connection with ESO's servers... If it was successful it will then show if it's downloading any patches/game client etc. Security Essentials won't block it.. I'd say you have a router level firewall issue. Some routers ship with firewall already enabled. You may need to go into your router settings and disable it.. (Or NAT it properly if you know what you're doing)PC / NA - 1800 CP
