I’m guessing your connecting to the mega servers from far away/sub optimal connection.

So because English doesn't seem to be their main language they must have a sub-optimal connection? Not cool.
They said they contacted their ISP who said there should not be any issues if you read the post.

I work with vendors from around the world. It’s not a commonly used phrase.
This led me to believe the person would possibly be a great distance from the mega servers.
Calm your outrage. No malice intended.

Raised multiple tickets with ZOS and they have just said "speak to ISP" or "speak to PS4" - my ISP say this is not a problem there - I've checked at the time I disconnect and I still have working internet, i'm on a audio chat etc...
I check with PS4 and they ask if "is this a problem with just this one game or are others affected?" to which I reply, no, it's just ESO.... "the problem is with ESO".
Fix it zos!! Has anybody noticed this problem? Anybody raised a ticket and had terrible server/responses back?
This is not coool zos, wasting my time with this game.

Nah because it doesn't happen all the time. That is a terrible response and one you probably shouldn't post if you don't have a clue what you're talking about?
- If I am "far away/sub optimal" in terms of connection then why does it not happen all the time? It happens at specific points, i.e. at the start of entering a group dungeon, at the end of a dungeon, solo running around killing mobs, in a trial.
It can happen once every 30 minutes or it can sometimes not happen for an hour. It's not my connection bro. It is somethign with the game. If it was my connection I would notice more disconnects? All the time?
Heres one to throw you off - if I go into cyrodiil it NEVER happens? For hours at a time? Explain that.

I’m not certain on your unique problem.
I merely offered a hypothesis. Nothing ill willed about it.
Unfortunately, based on your response, I hope it continues.
But seriously, what you describe looks like an issue with your connection rather than the game.
Maybe it's your computer?
Check your OS cofiguration, your network hardware, your router...
are you playing wired or wireless?
If wireless, try wired.

Why are you still commenting if you have no knowledge of what happens?
I raise a ticket > they claim to "fix" it by telling me to go to ISP / PS4 support > then it says "please raise a new ticket if you notice this issue again." > I raise a new ticket > same process > technical team cannot help > ticket gets "resolved" when it is not > "Please raise a ticket if you need further assistance."
Point is, they force you to keep creating new tickets to which they give you the same standard response.
But seriously, why are you responding just to increase your post count? You literally sound like you have no idea how this works. It doesn't go to the bottom of the pile when they have a system in place to specifically tell you raise a new ticket should the issue re-occur. Stop clogging up my post with useless responses.
Wow. You come on here asking for help and someone gives you an answer you don't want to hear and you act like a jackass.
You know what, you want to act like a little baby like this, I hope ZOS never resolves your issue.
What are you talking about? How have I not wanted to hear it? I typed a response back to the guy. He said something that is incorrect..?

I work for a software company, we get support tickets every day with customers complaining about latency/connectivity issues. 99.9% of these issues are on the customer's end. If we are having any issues with our servers, we are the first ones to know. This will be followed by 1000 calls all hitting our support phones and email at the same time.
Not saying we don't try to help people with connectivity issues that are happening on their end but there's only so much we can do. Mainly we just prove that the issue is not on our end and point them in the right direction for resolving their issue.
I say this because if ZOS were experiencing an issue on their end that was preventing people from connecting to their severs, there would probably be more than just you complaining about it and I'd expect their response to be different.
If it's not on their end, it's likely either a firewall, proxy, VPN, router, or ISP issue.
First things I'd check are:
- When did this start happening?
- Did anything change or update around that time?
First rule of connectivity troubleshooting. Always blame someone else!
