the same can be said for some sorcerer skills such as summoning twilight matriarchs, volatile familiars, etc.If you see me anywhere. If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.5

✭✭✭✭✭Obviously you need Eternal Guardian on both bars. If you’re talking about why your bear is ignoring the morph effect..... well it’s a bug. A bug that ZOS has ignored since Warden launched (almost a year ago?) and still causes issues.
Basically when the bear dies, instead of respawning, it’ll force you into that long cast time animation you normally do to spawn your Eternal Guardian. If you cancel it, your bear won’t spawn. The morph effect is supposed to respawn your bear *without* having you cast it.Edited by Vaoh on March 31, 2018 4:39AM0 -
Maura_Neysa✭✭✭✭✭There is also apparently a bug where even with the Eternal Guardian after going through the animation he does not actually spawn.
Even with Eternal Guardian, you still have to recast him, it just happens automatically. So along with the bug I stated above, you can also cancel out of the recast which of course stops it. I personally have not experanced said bug, but I have had enough conversations about all the other reasons it could have stopped, to believe people when they say they have the bug.
The Eternal Guardian does need to be on both bars, otherwise he will despawn when you bar swap, and he will not auto respawn if despawned in that method. Just the same as if you cancel Eternal Guardian effect while in you Character Sheet he also will not auto respawnMaiden Maura - Xbox NA

Is it normal that the bear respawns where he died and not next to the Warden? It is super annoying to have these immortal bears in PvP that chase you over the whole map. Last time I kicked the bear into the insta-death AoE where he died just to respawn 2sec later exactly where I knocked him away. All I know is that it’s a mess being in a boss fight and then all of a sudden my character stands still, unable to cast anything. At least half the time the visual animation fails to play on the bugged recast.... especially in more laggy fights like when fighting Rakkhat. Also if you are resurrecting an ally when this bug occurs, the resurrection reticle stays permanently on your screen until you reloadui.
Would be cool to not have to over 1 year for a fix. This was reported both before and after Morrowind’s official launch.2 -

While i dont entirely agree with the balance of pet potency themselves, the idea from a design standpoint is that you are trading an ability slot for a more permament extension to your character that generally speaking is a bit more bang for buck in the ability budget department ie most pets while having a respectable base attack, also have active abilities which ends up being a bit more generous than a single ability you would put in that spot instead.0 -
