Why does set jewelry seem hundreds of times rarer then set pieces?

I've ran vet darkshade caverns 1 about a hundred times now it seems. I need 2 rings, a necklace, and divines head and shoulder.

I've gotten At least 2 or 3 divine head and shoulders each, but I havnt got a single jewelry drop.

Is this intended? Is there a big reason why it's so rare, like it only drops from the last boss?

Last boss And chests. So get an add-on that shows you were all the chests spawn and get that CP passive that gives you higher quality stuff from chests.

There are 10 to 20 possible chest spawns in each dungeon. More than likely, those spawns are set when you enter the dungeon, but they might have a spawn pattern just like any delve where they will spawn while your in there. Hard to tell, most dungeons are a race to the finish.

Anyway, try to find a map of the spawn points and check them for chests each time you run the dungeon. That is your best chance for Jewelry.

Chests spawn when you enter, not during. But yeah, use the HarvestMap addon to show chests, and a Minimap addon, and you'll find many more chests.

I didn't realise Harvestmap showed chests in dungeons, for some reason I thought it was overland only.

it shows them on the map, but you cant use 3dpins in dungeons

Jewely pool is mixed with weapons, and that is only distributed to the end boss in the dungeon. Armor pieces can drop from any of the bosses. Additionally almost every boss has a named drop that further dilutes the pool. Also chests can contain any generic item, but that depends on the quality of the chest, and whether you have Treasure Hunter CP passive, which ups the quality by one (ex. an intermediate chest with the passive will be about the same as an advanced one).
