Allow the option to sort based ont he amount of time it's been in your inventory. a la a "recent" sort function. Kind of like we get now when a new item arrives, but with the added benefit of not necessarily being mixed into the rest of the lot after being forced into another UI element which then closes the inventory and refreshes the "recent" item tag.

    That would be cool indeed

It would not only be cool, but it would completyely eliminate 90% of the pain-in-the-rear that is sorting through your inventory. The stuff a character keeps on him would inevitably find its way to the bottom of the list,s o you wouldn't have to sort through fifteen tabs and spend 5-10 minutes running between banks and merchants etc in order to clear your inventory of unwanted goods.

Honestly I'm surprised it's not something that's in the game from the start.

I think they should make "Armor Trunks". They'd take up 1 inventory slot but would open into another window. It would contain a slot for 10 armor pieces (and I guess up to 4 weapon/shield slots) of whatever armor you decided that particular trunk was for. That way if you were collecting Necropetence set, it would appear in your inventory as a trunk that says "Necropetence" instead of randomly sorted as "Belt of Necro", "Mace of necro" etc all over the place being a jumbled mess.
