Mark Target or Elemental Drain?

Which is better when solo’ing in PvE, and doing things like dungeons and trials? For the longest time I’ve been using Elemental Drain, but I am beginning to wonder if Mark Target would be better. What do you all think?

✭✭✭✭If you are a mag build, Of course eledrain is better. Sustian and damage increase for free.2 -

✭✭✭✭Mark increases your damage by more since it passively increases your crit.
It doesn’t offer sustain though which is a big deal and reincorporating that sustain into your build will likely result in a damage loss even with the crit from mark6

✭✭✭✭My stamblade used Reaper's Mark in a dungeon last night. (It was a hilariously easy duo run.) But I can't imagine using it on a magblade. I also have trouble seeing why even a stamblade would choose use it in a group where there was a conventional tank applying Major Breach/Fracture.
Yes, it's cool to throw on a trash mob for the on-kill benefits, but that's likely to work out well exactly when fights are at their easiest and you don't need the help.Edited by FrancisCrawford on March 6, 2018 3:05PM1
