Nvidia Geforce NOW can't load character

Hi,
I am trying to use Nvidia's Geforce NOW to play ESO. I am having a hard time getting any of my characters to load. It takes about 10-15 tries and if I change zones, I'm stuck doing it all over again in the same zone.
The only error I get is "An error occurred. Please wait a few minutes and log in again." after sending me back to the login screen.

I'd wonder if it has to do with the possibility that too many people may be connecting from the same place using the Nvidia NOW service. Any chance we can get some one working with Nvidia to figure it out?

Thanks

If you want to stream the game, there are other ways to stream ESO.

It is in the list of the NOW Client. It was working fine before the DLC anniversary event.

I don't see any other way to stream play the game. I chose this method since I choose not to install a game on a PC that isn't mine. Plus considering the prices of video cards anymore, paying for a monthly cloud gaming service will end up being cheaper than upgrading your video card every year.

Your right, the website led me to the Nvidia Shield thing, and this game is for sure not on that list

But it is on this list:

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/geforce-now/mac-pc/supported-games/

It is a beta, so there are probably not enough Servers to support things, that may change. But what really boggles my mind is your supposed to be offloading the graphics to the Cloud, but they still need to be rendered locally to display on your monitor, so not sure where the benefit is there, maybe less local calculations. But, being an MMO, all combat and most other calculations are done on the ZOS servers, so that has to be reported back to the client after processing, then Nvidia has to process the graphics calculations, then send them to your machine to be rendered. Still not sure how this will benefit a game like an MMO.

Also, there will be a cost for this, just not sure how that will amortize a video card. Do they have pricing yet? Not needing to buy video cards is not that big a deal for me, I only get new ones every 3 years or so, and never buy top of the line. So, my card costs are about $250 every 3 years. Wonder how the pricing will match up to that.

They do say that you need to be on at least a 6.5Mb connection. So, the first thing to check are your speeds, both up and down. And, if your on a router, who else is on that router leeching bandwidth

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

My internet speed is fine. I have no problem playing Overwatch. And this was working before the event. All my characters on in DLC zones (Clockwork and Dark Brotherhood) if that makes any difference.

It is a cloud based gaming service, that doesn't require local graphic generation beyond what you would expect for a remote desktop experience.

I think it is an amazing service, and they may likely get my money instead of upgrading my PC in the future.

It might take Nvidia a while to catch up to the game. Have you contacted them about this issue? It seems more on them than it would be on ZOS.

The more I look into this, the more intriguing it gets. Does the local video look as good as native? I ask because locally the game looks better to me than youtube video I have seen, but that is a different encoding path. Still, being able to play the game on a business laptop might be good.

I posted in the Nvidia Forums about it, too. I have no problems logging in tot he character select. I just can't load a character into world without perseverance.

I think the service is really good. When your connection is good enough you won't notice a difference in graphics and it can handle max graphics even if your PC cannot. It also has a streaming service for twitch, but I have not tried that, but taking a lot of the processing off your computer would allow for some good recording or streaming.

Any kind of response from dev or anyone from the team as to this issue?

I tried NA and EU servers and I get the same result.
