Defensive 3 piece sets?

Im sitting here looking at the agility set and willpower set which both have nice stats for their 2 piece and 3 piece bonus and I am wondering; why isn't there some defensive sets? No extra armor or crit defense or something. Why not also some hybrid sets?

    Because defensive things are bad. All the good defensive sets and ablitys in the game have been nerfed over and over.

    What do you understand as hybrid sets? At least Agility, Willpower and Endurance sets come in all jewel traits. Endurance and Vengeance Leach are probably the most "hybrid'is"h and "defensive" 3 piece sets.

    Was thinking along the lines of max stam, max magicka, or WD, SD. Maybe stam recovery, mag recovery.

    Edit: The problem with leech is it requires you to kill first while hybrid builds needs all the help they can get before that.

    Endurance, Max health, stam recovery. Yes, Max Health does make you tougher.

    I tried to work around that hybrid issue with pelinal's + arcane agility.

    Yes, bloodspawn is terrible. Shimmering shield is trash, no one uses it. Impregnable is a waste of a 5 piece, just awful. People don't complain about shield stacking at all anymore because it doesn't work and isn't effective.

    RIP defensive sets and abilities.

    Yeah; I haven't bothered with hybrids a lot and don't need anything specifically; I was just looking at options as a lot of builds that use 2 hand weapons that wish to have a monster set, use a 3 piece + asylum/master weapon. If I do this and wanted to have a replacement for say; shacklebreaker yet not quite as good but it frees up a couple pieces. Or; maybe instead of fortified brass or wizards riposte.

    The way I look at it, if my second 5 piece set is a stamina damage set, I can use agility. Or in one setup I have with my stamplar; I run 1h/shield cowards backbar, Maybe I'd like to go bow to give me a range option. I can run endurance and it gives me just a little less stam recovery but more health and frees up 2 slots, but of course I have to roll for expedition and lost major protection.

    Just feel like there could be more options like that is all I guess.

    There could be more options. The 3pc sets are not particularly versatile.

    I mean, personally, I'm looking at the datamining for chapter 2 and kinda hoping that the Jewelry crafting rumors are real, because that'll open up all kinds of combos we can't do now, like stacking Hundings and NMG.

    its pretty good for solo build though. my stamblade uses it. in any fight, you pick off the weakest first and doing so not only reduces your damage intake but heals you for all 3 stats. in a group situation, not as useful because you can rely on other people to take some of the damage, and heal you. im trying out flanking for that since i'll regularly be behind mobs
