Did our dps as a group decrease after this update?

After this update on my magsorc the highest dps I can hit solo is 3k less than before the update.

With the off balance changes are entire groups dps less? Essentially making all content harder?

Yes in general, but there are ways to build differently and get around the off-balance nerf. For Sorc I recommend using a fire glyph now, and flame wall. Even that small amount of fire damage makes Ilambris viable, since both effects will proc frequently.

It's not a good patch for a pure lightning build (RIP Netch set).

Well that sucks they decreased our overall dps.

The majority of players already can’t beat tough content like vet trials and vma. Now it was just made harder. And anybody not max CP has it even worse

Idk about overall group DPS. Probably went down a bit.

My main characters, Magicka Sorc and Magicka Warden, were both hit hard. DPS definitely decreased at least for me.

I see top raid groups getting higher DPS, faster burns, and higher raid scores than ever before. So I don't think group DPS has decreased so much as most groups haven't adjusted to the changes yet.

If groups are going in with their CWC group comp with a bunch of magsorcs and stamDKs, then yes, group DPS went down because heavy attack damage went down.

But if groups have adjusted comp to the new patch meta (double inferno magblades, more stamblades, Jorvuld on healers), I think DPS has gone up. At least for me, my stamblade is about the same DPS as before, maybe a bit more (generally parsing in the 65-68k range on the 52mil).
