What happened to Colovian Estates?

Since Dark Brotherhood was released so many of us where waiting for Colovian Estates to be released and it still hasn’t been released.
Did you guys decide not to release it because there hasn’t been any info on it at all.
Can you please tell us if it’s coming down the line or not?

    I think he's refering to the zone, there's a gate in Varen's Wall that should lead to it when/if it gets released.

      I meant the Colovian Estates area that has a gate entrance along the wall on eastern map by Anvil.
      It’s suppose to be a new area/map
      If you walk up to the door and head towards the shoreline you can use camera angles to look over and see what looks like a road leading to a bridge surrounded by grassy hills and trees.

      Yeah, that's the Skingrad region. It'll probably come at some point. The basic architecture of Skingrad was in the game as far back as 2015, so it's very likely this is supposed to be accessible at some point, though it's never been announced, so we have no idea when.

      What I'd like is a massive Colovian Estates zone (chapter 3, perhaps?) that connects the Gold Coast, Reaper's March (fix the bridge at Arenthia!), and Craglorn.

      Then all we'd need is a Falkreath zone to connect Craglorn to the Rift, and my dream of a horseback world tour can come true. Yes, yes, I know, Falkreath Hold is a dungeon now... but we could still get the zone with Helgen, Oakwood (town that appears in TES I: Arena), and maybe Riverwood as cities... maybe?

      They will add it at some point. I think on youtube there is a video of someone going outside the map on PTS that showed some of Skingrad, but that is all subject to change. + it is not the real zone, just a marker for the developers.

      It will come at some point, think they have other things planned before this DLC lands. But it would be cool yes.

      Like the giant nerd I happen to be, I was going to point out that Riverwood is actually in Whiterun Hold. But then I thought, yeah in the fourth era. As far as I know, it could have been in Falkreath Hold in the second era. Also, since it sits on the border of the two, it could easily be included on a Falkreath Hold DLC or chapter.

      Too much time on my hands on Mondays.

      In Oblivion, Janus Hassildor have 50 years of vampirism.
      He was not born in second Era.

      The name of the actual count (Calantius) was mentionned in a Q/A.
