Are Daggers Wasted on Khajjit?

I seen a few stam DPS builds that have daggers front bar. With the recommended race as Redguard. So obviously the crit dagger bonus is more of a necessity.

But...

Dual wield daggers = +10% crit chance.
Khajiit Racial Passive = +8% crit chance.

Are Khajiit actually losing DPS by running daggers?

Would it be more beneficial in dungeon/trial content to run maces or swords for the 20% penetration or 5% damage bonus?

    With the Acuity meta (assuming you are using the set as well) , Weapon Critical is not that important . It's more about sustain and raw damage , which Redguard is best at .

    Anyway , if you are going to stay as a Khajiit , go with Axes . Highest parses (raid parses , not dummy) I've seen used double axes even on a Redguard . Difference between 1 Dagger + 1 Axe and Double Axes is really low though , almost the same . Just don't run double daggers , especially on a Khajiit .

    @Nestor I know that but if builds are running with 50-60% crit is it not more beneficial to use another weapon type once you get in to that range?
