Couple questions: Stalwart guard and rearming trap

Just some simple questions about these abilities:

stalwart Guard Can this be applied to your own pet in order to gain the minor force bonus, or must it be applied to a player?

Rearming Trap How exactly does the damage and minor force from this ability work? If it triggers twice (1.5s after laying it and then another 1.5 seconds after that), does it create two bleed damage over time effects on the target, essentially dealing double damage?
Does the minor force applied by rearming trap start when you set the trap, or when it is triggered?
Does the minor force applied by rearming trap only last the same duration as the dot, or the full duration of the trap (6 seconds vs 1 minute)?
Does rearming trap's second activation (3 seconds after laying, if placed directly on an enemy) refresh the duration of the minor force, causing it to last an additional 1.5 seconds?

it must be applied to a player.

How exactly does the damage and minor force from this ability work?

you toss it on the ground and it arms after 1.5 second and then it can be set off. after it is set off, it ticks every second for 6 seconds, then it rearms and is a wholly separate damage entity from the first trap, like you just casted it again, then it ticks for 6 more seconds.
If it triggers twice (1.5s after laying it and then another 1.5 seconds after that), does it create two bleed damage over time effects on the target, essentially dealing double damage?

it does not have a bleed. it is a physical dot. the only bleed are from Cleave and morphs, Twin Slashes and morphs then the axe passives, there are no other bleeds in the game.

you can cast rearming trap a second time while the second trap of rearming trap is going and it will tick together for a couple of second, it is not much though.
Does the minor force applied by rearming trap start when you set the trap, or when it is triggered?

only when the trap is actively doing damage.

Does the minor force applied by rearming trap only last the same duration as the dot, or the full duration of the trap (6 seconds vs 1 minute)?

rearming trap has 2 six second durations.
Does rearming trap's second activation (3 seconds after laying, if placed directly on an enemy) refresh the duration of the minor force, causing it to last an additional 1.5 seconds?

the trap only has a down time of 1.5 seconds between traps. it gives you minor force for the 6 seconds the trap is doing damage.

So with rearming trap once you lay it (say on a boss that isnt going to be moving) you actually get about 12 seconds of minor force?

correct, and you can lay it again when the second one is going and have both traps fire off together.

Ok so here I was always trying to keep rearming on my front bar due to the low uptime (thought it only lasted 7.5 seconds with both procs), when really I could easily fit it in on the back bar instead and have it last just as long as caltrops...

The Damage and the minor force does but the cc does not.

Guard used to be able to be applied to a pet. I had it attached to my Clannfear on my Sorcerer.

The ability to do that was changed around the time of Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild even though I could never find information on any patch note about it.
