Because new players obviously should use a procc based morphs as their first skill.
Maybe... just maybe use the other morph thats not forcing them to react to yet another thing in this already fairly complex game?
Many people fail at seeing the point behind this system. It´s for new players who are probably overwhelmed with things to do and skills to take.
and @op - calling a system stupid and failing to choose the right present. Way to go dude....
Uhhh...is zos were talking about here. They think we need an advisor with 15 skills that have a stam and mag morph. Even when I was new I understood which ones I needed to run, and I had never played an mmo, I was expecting skyrim online.

What about crystal frags proc make it complex?Seriously somebody would have to be braindead to heed that piece of advice.

I do not know much about tanking. I am a healer, who decided to make a tank character. Based on what I've seen tanks do in dungeons, I got an idea of what the job of the tank is. With that knowledge I went to UESP to see all the Dragonknight skills, and picked out the ones I deemed useful. I then created a Dragonknight character and set the skill advisor to tank. The skills advised by it were pretty much the same that I picked out earlier. Decent system, maybe not the best, but hopefully there won't be as many "healers" and "tanks" who have no idea what they're doing.

PEBCAK.
I thought the same thing, then I realized I had selected a magicka based build to preview.
Seriously; the fault lies on you with this one.
This system is generally stupid and unnecessary, because it replaces the need of conversation between players. Before people were asking each other for correct skills, now they ask the game itself. That's not the way the MMO should go imho.

I have to agree. Now if the skill advisor was an actual fleshed out build advisor that offered build solutions and information all around, that worked, that would be super useful. But as it is it's just a waste. A joke. We can always hope it gets improved with time, right? no. not gonna happen, it will stay casual dumbed down forever, Im sure of it.
I like the small level up rewards though, that's a nice toucha.
