Im pretty sure stamblades are the biggest numbers in open world, for the obvious reasons.

magDks and magplars are also very popular in group play. they lack the stamblade levels of cheese for solo play, but in group pvp they are just as strong to have.

I also see increase in the numbers of stamplars and stamsorcs nowadays. Good to see stamplars back after so long.

it's pretty clear, back in the day when they were considered "gimped" noone played them.

Today they are everywhere. Freakin cancerous if you ask me.

When you say 'see' ... do you mean players we physically see or can we also make this determination based on the types of skills shown on our death recaps? (You don't always see who kills you.). Can we also make this determination based on what guild mates say, or based on things we hear in zone chat?

Also, are you referring to all types of pvp? We have Cyrodiil pvp, BGs, District farming/pvp, Duals (can occur almost anywhere), and Sewer ganks.

Note: yea, most of us know that what goes on in the sewers has de-evolved into a bastardized version of what it once was, but hey, no worries, we will still call that 'pvp' because, hey, why not! Sewer-gankers are real people with real feelings and deserve a place to call home. It's important to keep in mind that even 6th grade bullies need a place where they can encourage and support each other while they beat up 1st graders to steal their lunch money.
