Wrong Bite - How to fix it?

A newbie to my Guild asked for a bite - I thought they meant a vampire bite, but actually they wanted a werewolf bite. I don't know if it was my mistake or his because I swapped characters to do the biting, but I definitely feel responsible. Is there anything he can do other than waiting the week for the vampire bite to go inactive?

Someone suggested that he could go through the vampire quest and then immediately pay a Priest of Arkay for the cure, but that seems a bit of a hassle. Can he get bitten by a werewolf now while the vampire bite is also active, or does the game prevent that?

    I believe you can go to the mages guild to remove the vamp bite and the fighters guild to remove the WW bite. This should work even before doing the quest.

    They will need to be cured before getting a new bite.

    Considering that you have to meet up at the respective bite location for vamp or WW, you really shouldn't feel too guilty. After all they probably should have noticed the lack of a shrine of hircine.

    I know that i was possible for a while to get bitten from a WW with a vamp bite active as well, but they changed something to fix a bug where you could have both, not sure if that means one bite removes the other or you cant be bitten =/

    Well, it was a Level 7 player who hasn't been on ESO for over a year, so I can't blame him for not knowing the difference between a vampire shrine and a werewolf shrine :).
