The unicorn in Oblivion would try to kill me every chance it got. I hope the new horse will do that to its owners as well.

Well, aren't you just a bundle of sunshine.
I would think that having a mount burst into flames whilst summoning it might be a bit more dangerous than a regular horse with unicorn tack.

To be fair, that Unicorn in Oblivion was quite homocidal.

The mount in question IS NOT A UNICORN.
It's a horse trying too hard.

Aww, poor horse he just wants to dream. In his mind he is a majestic, mass murdering unicorn!

Take another look at the Unicorn armor on its head again, if there were straps on the back of the Unicorn head then I would say yes that is a horse in a costume. And yes there is and take a look at the whole of the horn on the Unicorn head armor again.

https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/26325Is that the famed and incredibly-rare creature of legend, the true Unicorn from Hircine's Oblivion realm of the Hunting Grounds? …Well, no, it's a horse with a golden horn attached to its forehead. But the effect—it's just so magical!

Stop what, the masqued "unicorn"?
Again, remember this beauty (homicidal beauty) from TES VI: Oblivion?

Now that's a beautiful (lunatic) unicorn.

She was quite friendly if you kept your weapons sheathed.

Take a third look because there Are straps between it's ears wrapping around it's head and comes up under the jawline..

Why did they use straps instead of just riveting the darn thing to its skull? Straps make for more horse maintenance.

Okay, so I was imagining the Unicorn in TES IV: Oblivion?
Between the Unicorn, Shadowmere, the Headless Horseman, and Arvak, I'm not sure where this idea that Elder Scrolls mounts have to be boring came from. After all, Skyrim horses could climb mountains.

Boring and fitting into the setting are two different things. But those horses with braids that look like they've been fallen into a pot of make up or had several plastic surgeries are just awful.

Can take the same stance on vestiges. There's thousands of us. This is an MMO, what you are espousing works only in single player games.

No, there is only one Vestige. I dunno who you think you are.
I think this horse is as close as we will ever get to a real unicorn. No one could afford the Crowns required to buy it, anyway.

Yeah but I think a horse with a perma-headache could be problematic.

Just use a hollow horn.
