hide helmet on costume not available anymore?

so whats the deal? I wont craft an outfit cuz I have bought many awesome costumes with crowns and got many with crates. I never wear helmets so I wont be able to hide them anymore when I wear a costume? Dont tell me its true... or is there a way to hide them that I dont know? There is no option for that at the outfit station... :/

    Hide Helmet is a Collectible now, under Hats

    Looks like you are still unable to hide the helmet on your polymorph tho I had wished they was going to change this before the update was made live guess they didn't tho

    its a misleading label to be sure. its meant to differentiate for hiding helmet on the outfit you are making to make the no helmet part of the outfit save only. not your real polymorphs.

    They put a special "Hide Polymorph Hat" option in the EXACT SAME LOCATION as the old option. So, you can hide the hat on a polymorph, but not disguises.

    wrong. you can hide helmet in the outfit station as a selection when building the new outfit. to hide helmet on regular gear or costume they only moved it to Collectibles>hats and is trigger able at any time.

    I can see I'm going to struggle with this.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Mmmm, I think you may need to show this via video or provide steps, this was not an available function on PTS (which I was playing Saturday). Hide helmet that was previously in the gameplay settings has now become a collectible and no longer works on Polys. There was no replacement setting I'm aware of. And their own announcement in an ESO live stated Hide helmet on Polys wont be available.

    I May stand corrected, looking at a few other photos on threads it seems they may have saved polys. Apologies if I came off more than inquisitive as I'm at work (shhhhh) and cant verify on live.

    Hide it is in the Outfits collections tab & the preview works, but does not actually toggle work - nothing like creating new issues just because you can! (on polymophs even ones that dont have a helmet)

    Way to go 4years and still not learning old tricks :(

    As @mmogamerperson stated, this functionality was changed in the Live patch. You can find the information about it in the Patch Notes under Base Game Updates> Outfits > Customization.
    The “Hide Helmet” option has been replaced with a “Hide Polymorph Helmet” option, and the general functionality to hide your helmet has been moved to a collectible hat.

    Very nice that the hide polymorph helmet option has not been forgotten! Take our thanks to the devs :)

    :(:/ I hope they revert back to hide option on disguises, wasn't too happy when I saw this.
