Lava and fall damage stealing kills?

If fall damage or lava damage kills someone as a result of something you have done. Shouldn't you get credit for the kill? Same for activating blades in Ald Carac.

For example, if your leap knocks 3 people off the bridge into the lava in Foyada Quarry, and you jump into the lava after them to keep them taloned there until they die (was totes worth dying to do this).

You do get credit for fall dmg or lava if you were the last one to damage them before they died.

Blades do not count unless your character damaged them right before they died.
