What class is best for dps

Nightblade Stamina

Highest Ceiling of DPS:

Magicka Nightblade and Stamina Nightblade

Easiest Skill Rotation for decent DPS:

Magicka Sorcerer and Stamina Dragon Knight

Good enough DPS:

All other Stamina DPS

In the doghouse:

Magicka DK, Magicka Templar, Magicka Warden

Magicka Templar (Ranged) may have graduated to "Good Enough DPS" now, but I haven't tested since DB.

All classes *can* complete all content though. What was "good" this patch may be "bad" next patch. I would go with what you like then level others as you have time. Most trials groups don't care what you run as long as you meet the DPS requirement for the group. Pretty soon you will be like me and have all of them and be able to switch when you feel like it, or when something becomes fun and viable.

Question has no answer.

Do you mean overall dps. DPS against solo content. DPS against dungeon trash? Dungeon bosses? Raid trash? Raid bosses? Target dummy? PVP 1-on-1? PVP 1-on-many?

In each of the scenarios, the answer may be different.
