I'm not sure what I was expecting from a video titled "How To Escape" but 2 and a half minutes of sped up fighting followed by a player abandoning dead teammates after a sudden wipe and speedrunning out of a keep without even setting up a rez camp at the end wasn't what I was expecting.
But hey, you lived, and I guess that's more than your group mates can say. Bet they wish they'd cut and run too.
Way to change the topic, Vaughndaunted. For context to my above comment, the OP originally had a video of them escaping from a keep in PVP.
As for magwarden, the build in your video seemed to be doing reasonably well at self-healing and running away. I can't really judge their effectiveness at killing enemies since the action was so sped up.
Necropotence/ Fortified Brass (tankyness/ IC) or Transmution (open world). Spinners as second choice for raw damage. Can do shadowrend/ nerien’eth/ 1 pc Domihouse or even Iceheart if your Bastion CP is high enough. Magika will be over 40k, likely, with Northern Storm and Inner Light and your shalks will literally blow ppl up.
Edit: Fletcher X 2 > Shalks > Frost Clench or other immobilize = Dead.
I am using my new build for a few days, and I think I am much stronger than before using this build.
I use 5x Necropotence, 5x Lich on the back bar, 1 piece Domihaus on shoulder, and Master Inferno staff on the front bar.
front bar skill:
Inner light, Deep Fissue, fetchflies, Flame Reach, Dampen Magicka Ult: Shatter soul
Use Shatter soul as a execute, the other morph does't have the snare and is nerfed.
Back bar:
Ice fortess, Healing Ward, Living Trellis, Netch and Mist
Ult: Permafrost
The extra 8% magicka is not needed on the back bar, so I use the aoe cc morph
Deep fissue, apply flies and then just spam flame reach, it hurts. Only use shatter soul if the enemy is really low on health, otherwise they just heal up.
