I for one have what elitist refer to 'top tier gear' but say if someone else isn't running something similar but it functions well, they would be ostracized and face routine kicks until they follow a meta or has something to prove that can preform their role well.不動の Steadfast - Unwavering

Zos is aware that the forum polls are designed and intended for entertainment value since they offer not statistically relevant information that can be considered the opinion of the player base of the game.
Besides, Zos has clearly stated they have no interest in having player inspection in the game and with everything they have added they have continued to keep the details of how a players build is setup private.Seraphayel wrote: »Inspect player! That option is unlikely to change Zos' mind as it would still be a source of further scrutiny the moderate players will use to push players out of groups because they need stronger players to carry them. Won't permit inspection then you must be bad. Clearly I am wearing good gear and have max CP so I must be good, lol

✭✭✭✭✭I don't care.Would be cool. I’ve always wanted to be able to do this, as well as show off some achievements I have unlocked to my friends. Also you can see if people are lying or not about gear, etc.
It could potentially cause issues though in pug groups. Then again, if you have something to hide, your group would like to know *before* you cause them to wipe. No one likes if you have zero experience in vWGT and then purposely don’t speak up to learn the Planar Inhibitor’s mechanics when asked about it. It’ll be very rare that someone goes through the effort of checking the achievements of 4ppl to look for completes.
Mainly players will check gear. There are lots of good low-CP players who get kicked due to having lower CP..... if they are “inspected” and are wearing all gold armor/weapons and seem prepared, I bet most of those low CPs wouldn’t get kicked. That’d be a *very* good thing. Likewise, the highly unprepared CP178 dude wearing random gear grouped for Vet Bloodroot Forge would get kicked *before* a wipe, rather than taken through until first boss because the rest of the group gave them the benefit of doubt.
More benefits than not, and would have the opposite effect of elitism by discouraging the kicking of good low-CP players. I’d like it.0 -

✭Yes.“Elitism” is a tiresome bogeyman. You could say not having it allows ‘carry me’s’ to try and sneak in under the radar. ESO suffers from attempts to shield players from actually trying.7 -
