Is it worth it to level crafting on alt and do the crafting writs per day?

Hey,
I was wondering if it is worth it to(buy the craft boosters from the Guild Traders) level multiple alts' crafting(I have 6) , because it takes ~40k gold to level per character and i don't know if it is worth it or not, by levelling, or do i not need to level crafting skill lines to do dailies and still get writs,
any answer would be appriciated

If u r after masterwrits, two "good for nothing" alts bring as much masterwrits as a "knows it all" mastercrafter.
As u can only influence the chance to get _a_ masterwrit slightly, but can do nothing to improve its amount of vouchers, its totally worth it.

Masterwrits can only drop from max level writs. I wouldnt buy anything from guildtraders tho. just decon everything u drop gets u up to max fast enough (imo).

Was tracking results from feb to oct last year.
Mastercrafter got a total of 1950 vouchers in 149 writs.
The other 8 alts got a total of 8915 vouchers in 620 writs. (the most lucky one delivered 1902 in 101 alone).
When the update went to pts, i started researching all the things on all the toons, so they became slightly better over time. The mastercrafter is still the only one that knows motifs apart from the 9 basic racial styles.

It does, having more supplies coming back pays off massively. You also get more master writs, even though new crafters (without many researched traits) only get those for consumables first of course, but still.

Currently I have 4 crafters (only 1 of them with all professions) and I already bought the first housing-chest within a week or so, very little effort.

Leveling provisioning and alchemy is what I would suggest to start es early as possible, therefore being able to use it as you go. Starting at max level can get really annoying compared to equipment crafting, where you simply need to deconstruct until you get to 50.

You reveal yourself best in how you play.

    Kelces - Argonian Templar
Farel Donvu - Dark Elf Sorcerer
Navam Llervu - Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Aniseth - Wood Elf Warden
    Therediel - Wood Elf Templar
    Nilonwy - Wood Elf Nightblade
    Jurupari - Argonian Warden
    Kú-Chulainn - Argonian Sorcerer

If you have the resources and time, do as many writs per day as you can. Even without motifs or traits, you can still get master writs and you'll be swimming in gold upgrade mats before long. I have 15 toons all doing 6 writs a day and while it's time consuming, it's definitely worth it.

That is the title but you went more towards master writs in your post.

One part of Max Tier writs that I rely on just for CP grind is the XP rewards.

On a CP160 character (current max XP point) a master writ can reward several thousand XP.

With ESO+, Enlightenment, XP boosters and an XP event they can reward above 10K XP each. If you do all 5 that's 50K+ on one character, and 400K+ a day on just 8 free characters. And if you have 12 days of saved enlightenment during an event, you won't even burn it off in a day and can do this continuously. And if you aren't playing those alts full time a single XP booster will also last for days because you can run all the writs extremely quickly if you have enough resources on hand.
