Make stealth great again. Soft/hard removal of alliance badges in Cyro.

As you can tell, this post asks for removal of the badges above our heads in Cyro. They are additions to the game that make stealth and get away as a non NB much harder, and generally limits gameplay. For instance if someone sees my badge, they are instantly on alert, despite not knowing who or what alliance I would actually be. And it makes it much harder to blend in, since the badge just sticks out above your head.

What could be done is options to remove it totally. Be based off combat when you get hit, fading within a few seconds of not hit for get away. Another choice would be to have it player choice. So that organized groups with no need for stealth can tell who is who, but at the cost of others seeing it too. Whilst not instantly seeing or knowing the random person who walks on by. Of course leaving as is
This isn't about buffing or nerfing classes, nothing will get a better/worse due to this, it is simply about desimplifying PvP. If you have another suggestion please post below.

    What is the issue with it? Unless you are an NB stealth is an very difficult thing to use consistently. You might get from A-B unseen, and for cheap, but the second you are, its rip.

    I think it's a great idea to remove player badges.

    I think stealth should not make you invisible, but just remove the alliance names/badge. I find it very hard to accept entire armies can just be invisible in front of a keep by stealthing. Only cloak or an invisibility potion should be able to do that.
    You want to hide? Use the rocks/trees/bushes or be a troll under a bridge to hide. When using sneak/stealth and it removed you alliance badge and you cannot be targeted by tab targeting you will still be hard to find.

    But the game is not designed that way and i think a lot of problems/bugs will occur when it's changed.

    So i am for it, but i doubt they can pull it of.

    Just a removal of badges so you don't get needlessly spotted become zerg bait from lengths people would not notice your affiliation by.

    That wouldn't change NB at all. It'd give other players better stealth capabilities, maybe even using something like mist/shuffle to blend better.

    I've never liked them, I understand the need for them but I find I spend more time looking for icons than players.
    There is always that interesting and intense moment when you can see a character model but not an icon in the distance and you make a call, then find it's an ally once the reach a range for the icon.

    I think a hard removal would be too upsetting but a system where people are flagged once they're marked (combat) would be interesting to have.

    I want more sneak in pve, it's fine as it is in pvp, maybe too fine
