Missing Guild Bank Deposits

(Ps4 NA) So over the past few weeks I have noticed an increase in my guilds members saying they are making deposits but it's not showing. It even happened to me last week. I submitted a ticket and it was resolved really quickly (thank you). This is quite frustrating for a guild where members pay weekly dues for trader access. Upon submitting the ticket, I was even told they saw the failed deposit. Please find a way to fix it from happening at all or at least something that will AUTOMATICALLY refund a player for failed deposits. While my ticket and my guild members tickets have been resolved quickly, it's not fun to jump through a few hoops to get our own gold back. Thank you in advance :)

    This is a problem that seems to come and go. Months go bye and no mention, then it seems to be an issue for a while, then it goes away.

    While a huge pain, it might help to have the members email the deposits to you. But if you have an active guild that participates in a high rate, your going to have a lot of emails to take care of, and making sure deposits are done right. So, it's probably not a temporary work around anyone wants to do.

    You can open a ticket on this? Game ate 15K of my gold last Friday, but since my GM hides deposit history/guild bank, I had absolutely no proof to show ZOS that I had really made the deposit.

    Honestly this is BS - It's in-game currency for goodness sake - transactions should be backed, tracked and never fail to the point where gold is just going into a black hole. It's frustrating for the depositor, and I'm sure awkward for the GM as well.

    I wonder how many players have been kicked from trading guilds due to this bug, leaving bad feelings and misunderstandings on both sides. Ridiculous that ZOS may "see" failures yet not automatically return the gold via mail or something.

    @Nestor - Thank you for your suggestion. Regrettably it's not a very efficient workaround with 470 members... I don't offer to handle the deposits that way, but anytime someone asks me to, I do. Just something else to add to the gm plate ^_^

    @dotme - I hate how the deposits are hidden from members. Anytime someone in my guild questions a deposit I send screenshots. They didn't ask for proof when I opened my ticket, though I'm guessing that's because they can see it failed on their end.

    Just send a support ticket to get a refund, this happens from time to time, on a purely random basis.

    @skywarnmc27 - that's not the point. It's the fact that when you open a ticket they can see the failed deposit. If they can see it has failed then why isn't there something to automatically kick back the deposit to the player? This happens to about a dozen people a week in my guild. It also doesn't help that I can't have deposits be public without showing GB gold so it would be easier for people to see their own deposits.

    In reality, the depositor doesn't know that their deposit failed until they're unceremoniously kicked from their trading guild for non-payment of dues (Many trading guilds now hide deposit history from players to prevent spying). At that point, the depositor is upset because they believe the guild took their money and then kicked them, and the GM assumes the depositor simply didn't pay. Neither are correct.

    I'll repeat, transactions should be backed, tracked and never fail to the point where gold is just going into a black hole. It's not acceptable.

    I didn't realize this was an issue. It does explain some things I've been observing though. I track my guild gold in a spreadsheet every week to keep track of expenses and income. Every once in a while I'm either missing gold or up gold that I can't account for. This explains why searching the history doesn't reveal the answer.

    I agree with everyone else that this needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.

    It has been a long time since it happened, but I have received items attached to e-mails after the Bank feature failed to deposit them. I do not know whether that can still occur, since I have not noticed any items missing after my characters deposit them during the past two years or so of the three-plus that I've been playing. If there is an item that the Guild Store UI fails to "post" for sale, especially from the Crafting Bag, then ordinarily I will find that item in the character's bags.

    However, I have never received any GP from the ESO system attached to an e-mail because the deposit failed. That doesn't mean that there have never been any failures, including ones that ZOS support folks cannot verify.

    Frequently the E-Mail UI fails when I use Accept Attachment, and the attached "item" is Gold Pieces from selling an item offered for sale at a Guild Store. Maybe I should check and make a note of the current GP amount in the character's bags before checking for E-mail, then total the amounts of GP sent as attachments, add that to the previous amount in the Bags, and compare the total to what the Bags UI reports is currently carried by the character.

    Also, from time-to-time I have discovered, and documented, incorrect Bank account balances, which I've reported to ZOS. They've never acknowledged my reports until the most recent. Now the most recent shortages are under investigation. .....

    There is at least one bug in the software that keeps the Bank account records, that much is certain. Whether ZOS can find it and is willing to fix it if they do remain to be seen.

    Guess what... THIS IS STILL AN ISSUE! I still deal with this crap several times a week from my members. Why can't this be fixed? It is too much to ask for?! I don't even know who to tag, so I'll go with the one I know. Sorry @ZOS_GinaBruno - can you help me find someone to address this please?

    My guildmate also lost his emailed winnings from the lotto our guild holds once a week (this one was 1 million) tickets in - no response!

And since weekly dues are a thing on consoles in capital trading guilds.. there are HUNDREDS of deposits done weekly. I don't think it is fully understood how incredibly frustrating this is to those who don't have to deal with it. Either fix the deposits or find a way to let us show deposits without showing guild bank gold so people can see themselves when the deposits fail. Please. Pretty pretty please... do something.

    I am a bookkeeper for one of the major trading guilds on Xbox NA. This glitch is terrible. It seems as if it’s gotten worse recently. And of course the guilds end up getting blamed, especially the bookkeepers. Please fix it!

    Weekly dues are mandatory on PC too (if you don't meet sales requirements). People also donate money for other events.

    It's such a frustrating bug.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno can you please make it so players can see their own deposits in the guild bank? That way we can know if our deposit was bugged or not. Having to ask a GM/officer to check every major deposit for us is beyond frustrating for both parties.

    I deposited 10,000k in a guild bank last week and it went through but was immediately followed by a -10,000k “deposit” and put the money back in my inventory. It literally said in the guild bank history that I deposited 10,000k and then -10,000k gold.

    Just placed a bug report for this myself today as two of my deposits to my trading guild went missing this week.

    ZOS are you even reading your 'Bug" forum...and if you are do you really care?

    It sure does not seem like it as this type of bug can cause bad blood to be had between the party depositing the gold and the guild they are in as someone stated previously.

    This is a need to fix now type of problem, not a well we will get around to it once we add more to the crown store to make us more money.

    I talked to two guild members yesterday who both deposited guild in the guild bank for it to come out of their bank and vanish, when I told them to put in a ticket they said *well it was only 15,000 so I am not going to bother about it* How many other players are doing this or even depositing and not realizing their gold has vanished? As the leader of a small guild who tries to keep a trader every week will you please fix this. Or at least respond to say you are aware it is a problem.

    @Neelanna48 - I've had people tell me the same thing "oh well it wasn't that much" - screw that. I don't care if I only deposit 1g into the bank, if it doesn't show I will open a ticket. At this point I am so sick of this glitch that I am going with the "squeaky wheel gets the grease"

    I had this issue Sunday with a member who deposited 20k into the GB, it was never there.

    This is a pretty big issue, who knows how many members have lost out or been purged due to this bug.

    Adding my voice to the choir. I am a weekly dues-paying member of OP's guild and I finally got struck with the bank deposit bug last night. Even though I was very careful and waited a long several moments for the guild bank to load... deposited my 10k... saw it state as such in the upper right-hand corner of my screen... then waited until that notification went away for several moments before backing out.

    Guild didn't receive my dues. I had to mail another 10k directly to the guildmaster instead. The support ticket I submitted to try and get my missing 10k back is still awaiting an answer after I replied with all of my information yesterday.

    The day this happens to a six or seven dollar figure amount (I am an auctioneer for one of my other guilds, raising funds for our guild trader bid) is the day I will cancel my ESO Plus subscription and be gone.

    This bug has been a major issue for years and nobody seems to care or acknowledge it except for the players.

    @DragonRacer - thanks for stopping by ^_^ I know someone in our guild who had 500k come up missing while depositing it to his own guild. I couldn't imagine the anxiety while waiting on a ticket for that amount. Thankfully he did get his 500k back a few days later.

    I wonder if anyone from ZoS has even read this thread yet?

    Had a new member join this morning and deposited 40k into Oblivion. They opened a ticket and deposited another 40k... thanks ZoS.
