Adding active skill(s) for Dark Brotherhood and Thief skills

Since we are getting another guild...it's kinda unfair that only dark brotherhood and thief guild don't have any actives (I would love to trade some of the useless passive for some actives)

(Especially since we are getting new class/ new guild skill lines in chapters, I don't see how the "dlc active skills are P2W" argument is still valid)

For example:

Darkbrotherhood:
Spot weakness: As trained assasin you know exactly where to strike when you facing a heavy armored opponent.
Deal damage to an opponent with armor piecrsing, the "heavier" the armor is, the bigger the piecrsing is. Can be use to weaken the heavy armor pvpers, and with heavy armor becomes weaker due to this skill, pve tanks can dodge some of the "pvp-pve-what's-the-difference" heavy armor nerf.

Thief:
Silppery hand: like how you apply poison in Skyrim by putting poison in target's bag, you can quickly apply your poison on your target without actually spread them on your blade.
100% trigger your poison. While equipped, your weapon does not trigger poison by itself, instead the enchantment on your weapon works.

With this argument you should first go rant about how chapters are P2W, since technically you only need to spend little crowns to get the dlcs, or simpler, get a month sub is enough for you to get the dlc guild skill line.

Add: Or even more so, the dlc/chapter only trial/dungeon gears are also P2W in your opinion?

Is this a topic about chapters? No. I am not the King of Chapter Content and all ESO complaints.

This specific topic and this specific idea is what's addressed, and don't worry about me since I own all the DLCs and run ESO plus as well. I'm just not someone interested in personal benefits with clearly PVP-oriented skills locked behind DLC content.

    Also, notice the word "more".

It's not even confirmed we will get active skill lines for all we know the skills in it could be npc only and related to the story npcs or guild story npcs

Basically don't get bent out of shape over it...yet

But it is so minor compare to what player base already accepted...new class, exclusive gear etc. I just want dark brotherhood and thief guild get their fair treatment

Yes pls, no it wouldt be p2w, just dont make them op just make the skills a tiny little less powerfull then the basegame skills, and the top end-game ppl wont damand you to use the skills for trails and so on

as the op is saying, it would be fair justice to those two dlc, since yes the new sets are op in some cases

It would be nice if Dark Brother Hood and Theives guild had active skills that did more for assassination and thieving.
For example, (suggestion is overpowered) Thief skill allows player to place a hiding basket/blanket anywhere to hide from guards

My friend, you truly have a silly understanding of pay to win. If you're setting things up as a spectrum, then technically this game would be less pay to win than a more traditional MMO like WoW or EQ. Like, if you don't buy the new content that comes out you can't even reach the same level. The gear is always better. The new skills you gain access to are better. Everything is better.

Edit: Point is, you really need to sit down and play a game that is actually pay to win. You and every other person who cries that on the forums. Goodness gracious. There are a lot of complaints you can have with this game that are valid. Goodness, I even frequently cry out against them like the rampant monetization and stretched too thin between cash shop content and bug fixes dev team.

Not nearly. Classes have ups and downs. If you use warden, despite being bought you lose the abilities of a DK/NB that may be better or worse in some areas. Same with sets, better/comparable alternatives exist in base game/tradable. Not with a P2W skill line. That way you can replace your bad skills with good bought skills with no sacrifice.

A class is like choosing a set with good and bad bonuses that can be swapped for another set with different good and bad bonuses. A skill line is like allowing a paying player to choose to replace set bonus 2/3/4 with something better.
