Necromancer would make much more sens sorry as we can see good npc necromancer everywhere in the game as long as bad ones not all affiliated with the worm cult. Like the dude trying to raise his family and has his undead wife in the kitchen etc. Sorry but you are wrong saying necromancer would make less sens than psijic.Yamenstein wrote: »It also wouldn't make sense to have a whole bunch of necromancers running around. Seeing as basically everyone hates them but ah well. Let's ignore that shall we.
I hope we don't get necromancers, c'mon psijics!
and btw people hate assassins and thieves just as much if not more.

Not really. And they don't use dark magic or manipulate divine rules. Necromancy is seen as an abomination of magic, an anomaly. That's why it's forbidden in most parts of Tamriel and is "enemy-exclusive". I'd love to have a Necromancer skill line or class but I don't see it lore-wise.

I think a good compromise would be a necromancer skill line that allows for summoning undead etc. and with passives. That way a whole new class isn't created but just a skill line.

Not once in the whole game does it mention there being thousands of people running around w/o a soul who have all defeated Molag Bal. It's a Dragon Break for a reason. Thousands of possibilities are happening during this time period. Thousands of people (in different versions of reality) are running around, doing everything or doing nothing.

yeah but all other classes in this games has lots of NPC's using the same skills as all the classes Necromancer included..like npc's rooting you with talons or throwing you a sunfire dot..Psijic not really those are like really secluded people who accept only a handful of people or maybe I'm wrong.
Just because its called psijic or w.e doesn't mean we'll join their order, in all likelihood in exchange for "something" we will learn certain things from them and the skill line will mirror the fact they taught us even if we are not one of them.
I dont think there will be a new class so soon after the warden especially with the debacles that followed with it launching, a new skill line of abilities is far more likely this time around for the next chapter.

I think the Psijic part...is going to be a guild you can join, with active and passive skills.

yeah but 90 % of this game is evil lol ESO is not all kitties and rainbows far from that but it's your opinion like huge amount of people like evil looking classes.

If ZOS wanted to give us a Necro we already would have it. The skillset is already in game but only for NPCs.

Warden is still the worst PvE class in the game, almost a year after release. It's also become one of the worst PvP classes after the cliff racer nerfs. ZOS has no idea how to balance a new class.
