✭Probably breton for me even though im EP I love bretons kinda reminds me of our own civs and such in a political and old school way. Nothing modern of course.
Their history is also somewhat interesting as well as they're basically the off spring of aldmeri (or is it high elves?) & the Alessians. Something I think is rarely touched on in lore and should be way more. Which is why they have such a affinity for magicka.
should note its not exactly clear either if it was the alessians specifically or atmorans but makes more sense if its the alessians as the atmorans were pretty much the 500 companions.

✭✭✭✭Khajiit easily. Weird and interesting biological connection to the moon, their own thief diety, cute fluffy faces.
After that, probably Bosmer. I enjoy the aspects of Hircine in their lore, and the cannabalism is hardcore and I dig it.1 -
onnu✭Beast races are most visually appealing and culturally interesting to me. I have always played Argonians in all games permitting, ESO included. Khajiiti lore and culture is probably my favorite in general though.
In terms of Mer I love Maormer and Altmer for visual aspects (Altmer for cultural). Bosmeri culture/lore is cool but I'm not terribly fond of rainforests (hence why Maormer are kind of just for visual aspects, I dislike the sound of Pyandonea) and a great deal of Valenwood seems to be rainforest... I guess I'm not fond of the dank swampiness of it- and hoarvors. Hate those little ***.

CardboardedBox✭✭✭✭Orcs are theoretically the best race. They're "improved" elves, and elves are already the highest of all the races. The Orcs were given powerful physical strength, can completely shrug off pain, great building skills, and are the best smiths in tamriel.
The other races are jealous that those gifts were given to something uglier than themselves.

The homeland of the Dunmer is what defines Elder Scrolls in my books.

Turbotailz✭✭For me gotta be Khajiit. Their lore is so fascinating. If I understand it correctly the way Khajiit breeds works a humanoid Khajiit could easily have a sibling who is a small quadraped. Plus cat people are just awesome. They look beautiful. And they talk in third person. Unlike Miqo'ti on FFXIV they're actual cat people. Also that tail, gotta love a khajiit tail.
I also really enjoy argonian lore. From what I know they're literally the only race with absolutely no connection to men and mer. The hist trees are so fascinating.
Beyond that if I had to choose a man/mer race I liked the most is Dunmer. They have interesting lore. 3 of their own ascending to divinity? That's pretty cool. Though many of them are mean, xenophobic, and also they like to enslave other races namely Argonian and Khajiit.
